Property was partly under construction. Located in some kind of Industrial area where restaurants etc close at 9pm. Generally a used condition. Not the most pleasant stay. But at least bed was good and clean.

very unfriendly staff. although rooms were free and they knew that extensive and noisy construction work was taking place near my room, they gave me this dark room excrement. bathroom tiny. Room is not cleaned unless you ask for it the day before.

The location is a short walk to the train/bus station, which is convenient if you have luggage (other hotels off the town square require hauling luggage uphill!). The breakfast was good, and the staff was friendly and helpful. My single room was ok in terms of comfort and size, although there was a strong smell of paint during my stay, and my room did not have a wifi signal. Compared to other hotels throughout Sweden of similar quality, I found the price to be rather high, and it did not even include access to the activities/amenities in the hotel complex (gym, miniature golf etc.).

One big minus was thet the We-Fi was open and was n ot open all the time.The hotel had Netflix and that was OK the firs evening, but on the second evening it was fully booked and we could not watch.

Biggest asset is the closeness to ALV and walking distance to Vimmerby center with Restaurants. Quite nice staff. Good breakfast with fresh buns. 4 Person room quite large, missing any possibility to hang up coats or other clothes. Bunk bed old and quite shaky. Cleaning of bathroom should be better. Price/value is OK as it is Vimmerby and ALV during peak season with few other options.
