Very clean. The ambiance was very restful, log cabin feel in lobbies (1st and second floors) huge stone fireplace with fire, big window views of the lake. The breakfast was real basic, cold serials or microwave oatmeal, packaged pastries. Juices and coffee/tea/coco available 24 hours.

Nice comfortable room with a gorgeous view (we opted for the higher priced room on the lake side. However, the view from the 3rd floor on the front side is probably pretty good). Web page says free breakfast and implies more than just a continental breakfast, which is what we got. I think hot breakfast was only available on the week ends. Reviews mention variety and selection. Dissapointing.

We loved our stay. The lake view room had a beautiful view and a balcony to enjoy it from. The fireplace in the lobby was very welcoming and had good views of the lake. We liked that it was walkable to the music festival next to the property. We received good advice for places to visit while in town. The only downside was the mattresses really are not comfortable. They could use an upgrade.

Great resort to stay if going to a concert at the Fairgrounds, It is an easy walk from the resort to the Music Hall. Breakfast is good, rooms clean, staff friendly and helpful. We have never been disappointed.

While the rooms definitely need a makeover, we really enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly, breakfast was good, it was convenient to everything we went too. Our preteens loved the cozy cabin feel in the lobby.

We got the presidential suite, only because there were no others rooms. I am afraid to see what a regular room was like as I paid $300. It was worth $50

Overall our stay was fantastic, we stayed in the presidential suite, which was great. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but wasn't uncomfortable, it was just a little soft. Breakfast was good. The room and property were very clean with the exception of spider webs on our balcony, but we were on the backside of the lodge close to woods, so it was to be expected. Our view was phenomenal, staff was very friendly and common areas were welcoming. Jetted tub in our suite was great, in fact we usually get rooms with jetted tubs and this was in our top 3 of jetted tubs. The property is a little dated, but we would stay here again!

We found everything enjoyable at this location. We had chosen it based on the location of the wedding that we were attending. The one disappointing thing was the "beach" access that was listed in the description of the property. When I asked the receptionist how to access the lake she disclosed that you had to drive across the busy 4 laned highway. We opted to just delete swimming in the lake from our to do list. If you want a lake view and walking access, stay at The Ridges (also on Lake Chatuge) where our other family members were at.
