average hotel, no breakfast, in need of renovation, the gym , if can be called that, was pitiful 4 machines of which two were broken and one ready to fall apart, no room for stretches or anything, no floor mats or free weights, water fountain broken, if you are going to have a small gym with fewer machines or apparatus, at least keep them in working order, parking lot and walkways by the entrance extremely sleepery, no salt or ice melter spread to avoid accidents from passengers. the door in our bathroom opened just half way, seemed that they had some water issues at certain point and the door got swollen . Barely any toilerette items for 2 ppl , shampoo, conditioner, etc was just for one person. sure not coming back here, the only good thing was the location .

Toilet was small and too low. King bed was uncomfortable. Pool tiles need a scrubbing. Rooms need a microwave or kettle.

The toilet was smelly. Also you can hear the other people talk in the other room, doors slammed can wake you up. if your neighbor open the water you can hear it in your room. Cooler truck parked behind the hotel and kept the engine on the whole night made the room vibrating. I couldn't sleep unfortunately. Staff are friendly.

Hotel had mostly friendly staff. A couple who made errors during my stay (did not provide all food vouchers at check in, did not add the confirmed guest (that I confirmed months ago by email) to the registry and a restaurant staff who accepted a voucher with a wrong date by accident then another that wouldn't accept the one I had left in the end) and gave a little bit of attitude but others who were super friendly and accommodating. The errors made were rectified in the end. Pool and hot tub were convenient with great hours. Both a bit small and in need of a drain and clean/repair by my visit in Sept (end of season). Hotel rooms were a little dated but super clean and the beds were soft and sheets and towels fresh. Cleaning staff did an excellent job. Immediate surrounds don't have much for tourists except food but there is a bus stop right outside and the bus goes right to the West Edmonton Mall and the hotel is in convenient driving distance to many attractions.

I liked that fact that check in was a breeze. Room clean and everything we expected based on what was seen online. The front desk clerks were polite and helpful. One of the treadmills was out of order but did not affect me as the other one was not being used anyways. Hot tub great after a long drive.

Clean spacious rooms, very friendly and accommodating staff. Dove toiletries. Speedy service in Ricky's for breakfast. Set in an industrial type area was the only negative.

Staff was friendly and easy to work with. Had booked and paid through Expedia. When we arrived was told a damage deposit on a credit card was needed. They said they usually don’t accept a debit, which should be clear as not everyone wants or can have a credit card. We opted in for the extra 15$ a person for breakfast. Had I known that we would receive coupons with very limited choices at the restaurant I would have opted out and just bought breakfast and been able to choose whatever we wanted. It was a very small breakfast for the money.

We stayed for 4 nights. Could use a bit of an update but other wise fine! Wasn’t dirty, has a pool/hot tub and was close to what we needed. Really didn’t interact with staff other than the 5 mins it took to check in but she was friendly enough! Would recommend if you’re looking for a safe/clean place to sleep.

Lack of glassware an issue--no glasses, no wineglasses. CBC Newsnetwork is not available--put it on. Staff were unhelpful about the location of nearby convenience stores and restaurants--this is a very isolated property!

Upon checking in they tell me that they need to collect another deposit fee. This was not listed in the itinerary when I booked. They had listed the taxes and fees, but nowhere was an extra deposit charge listed. The clerk said it was policy. It should of been listed to be fully transparent.
