Very good hotel

Great location as located opposite to the main Hakata Station. Room is spacious and clean. Staff are very helpful and are very attentive.

I would like to see more table space and chairs (not just single sofa chairs). There are no wall or door hooks in the bathroom or toilet to hang coats etc temporarily. There is also no provision for hand soap in the toilet. These are seemingly minor inconveniences but can be frustrating when required. However I am over all happy with our four night stay.

Staff are attentive, enthusiastic and helpful. Staff speak good English and we felt they were kind and genuinely welcoming to foreigners. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Great attention to detail (even have stickers for guests to label trash items that do not fit into the bin). Fantastic location of course. Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Very conveniently located across from the east gate of Hakata Station. We had a fantastic corner room - light and bright, clean and well laid out room with two tables and chair by the window. Bathroom was well lit and water pressure was great.
We are breakfast and dinner in the hotel - both good. And we had drinks several nights in the bar upstairs.
My only criticism is that the hotel provides only small disposable packets of liquid soap and shampoo - not very environmentally friendly and we went thru many packets over the course of 3 days. The hotel should consider refillable bathroom amenities - every hotel we’ve stayed at across Japan used refillable amenities. Also, we had some laundry done and the amount of plastic and packaging for each laundry item was excessive - again, not environmentally friendly.

Overwall, the stay was good. There were two small things I didn't like though:
1. One of the pillow had stains.
2. The tablet device for lighting control couldn't be turned off completely, thus the room was a little bright when sleeping. I brought my eye band, so it was ok.

Everything is good except to that when it rains, you can hear the sound of water dripping onto some metal feature on the facade window, or something that is causing the sound

Large room, superb service , very attentive, friendly and helpful. In a convenient location, right above the metro lines and JR lines. Lots of restaurants near by. The bed is slightly too soft for me though.

The room given with a terrible view. I paid at a rate higher than my friends who enjoyed a much better outside view.

The stay at Miyako was overall amazing, especially there was typhoon near the end of our stay and we had nowhere to go but a nice outdoor pool that remained open depending on the actual weather conditions. The indoor spa was another impressive element - it’s clean, spacious, with sufficient amenities provided and embeds with a thoughtful service e.g. dedicated lift to spa floor from rooms.
The breakfast options were good, we had no problems having the same options daily given a 3-night stay. It got quite crowded and we had to wait to be seated which was not expected.
Very convenient location where you can enter the hotel from the underground exit directly.
I will recommend this hotel and would come back if I stay in Hakata again.
