My review is mostly because of the service and the price. The hotel looks pretty beat up on the outside and the pool is out of order, (looks like the pool from next friday) also the area seemed a bit sketchy. I was looking up directions to a local spot to get some food and a random guy on a bike got off with a hatchet. Turns out I think it's somebody who probably lives onsite, the hatchet was to cut some wood for a fire he was making. A bit startling though as it was 9 pm and dark out. The room was clean, beds were decent, hot water was great, mini fridge and microwave a plus, nobody broke into my truck. Overall I would stay here again but if youre expecting luxury, do not come here. For a cozy place to sleep for a very affordable price, I highly recommend.

This motel was not suitable at all. The whole vibe of the place was off as soon as we parked our car. Sketchy people all over and pretty sure we witnessed a drug deal happening. Walking past the drained pool to the office, I waited a few minutes before anyone showed up at the front desk. When a gentleman finally came out, he seemed pleasant enough and gave me the key. When we entered the room, there was a horrendous stench that hit us in the face. The room was cramped and did not feel clean. The comforter on the bed was old and had holes. My son immediately pointed out a giant hole in the wall next to one of the beds that lead us to wonder what may crawl out during the night. Me, my wife, my son, and my elderly mother all agreed this place just would not do. We did not feel comfortable at all nor did we feel safe being there. We packed everything up and started to leave. Since I didn’t know how long it would be until we found another hotel I thought I would at least use the restroom. Let’s just say someone before us had left a little something behind and I found it. I didn’t even bother with the restroom. I took the key back to the front desk and told the gentleman we were not happy with the room and would be leaving. He just said, “ok,” and went back about his business. No question about the issue, as if he already knew why we were leaving. The photos you see on Hotels.com are not what you get at the property. Don’t believe any 10/10 review. It felt like a bait and switch.

I’ve stayed here before. As always, the room was clean and ready for me. The check in process here is quick and easy. Room was conveniently located. Only issue was sometimes the WiFi was not working well.

The staff were very pleasant and responsive. I knew going in that this was not going to be a fancy place, but even so, the room needed to be cleaned and painted. The room smelled of disinfectant. The bed was one of the hardest mattress I've ever slept on. The bathroom sink and shower needs to be replaced. On the pro side: It was convenient, and quiet after 10 PM. And it was the right price for that particular day.

Not exactly deluxe accommodations, but everything you need and most importantly easy access to the highway to the east of Lompoc. Room was clean but could benefit from some maintenance. The nice granite shower and sink counter seem to be withstanding the test of time best of all the items in the room. Wifi was the biggest problem - very unreliable and it wouldn't surprise me if that's because it's being pirated by everyone in the area.

Good place to spend the night. Two beds. Not spacious but good for sleeping. Clean overall. Bouncy mattress… not for me but still sleeps well. They need to clean or cover the area under the bathroom sink. It’s an eye sore. Overall good place to stay. I would visit again. No smoking or putrid smells which I detest. Clean and good for family stay.

It was decent for what it was except it had some maintenance issues. The air conditioning didn’t work, there was a burnt out bulb, and the towel rack bar was leaning against the wall, broken, and un repaired. I let the front desk know about all these issues but I have no idea if or how fast they were addressed.

We stayed 3 nights at this place since we purchased ahead of time, I wish we hadn’t…people smoking everywhere all hrs of the night, loud and talking we had to keep windows open Since AC didn’t work. It was sketchy with homeless outside the door everywhere. Room was not like the pictures bedspreads were so stained had to buy blankets to use in our room. Just nasty. Would never stay here again

The rooms were so cute. Not the biggest rooms, but plenty big enough for my wife and I. The shower was the best. Bed was comfortable, floor was clean, etc.
