This hotel is OLD and in need of remodeling. It looks dirty even though it's clean. There are uncleanable places deep in the cracks of the walls, floors, elevator, corners, etc. Just needs to be demolished to the studs and start over. The pictures are bright. The actual hotel is dark and clammy - reminds me of scenes from scary movies. The only reason I stayed once I saw the room is because of the close proximity to my family's homes in Killeen. That and, once you book on Expedia, GOOD LUCK with EVER trying to get your money back. The staff were kind. The breakfast was sub-par and the a/c blew the best it could. I will stay next door on my next visit with family.

My family booked our room last minute and it was a nice and easy process. Traveling with a 9 yr old and a 6 month old would seem like a challenge but our room was perfect four our family. We will definitely be returning

Convenient location that’s kept up pretty good. Would recommend cleaning some of the upholstered furniture a bit, but other than that all good.

Checked in for my reservation and was told my room was on the 3rd floor but the elevators were out. Was asked if it was okay and let them know it wasn’t since I was traveling with family so we had a lot of luggage. Asked if there was anything on the first floor and was told I’d have to downgrade my room but wouldn’t be able to receive a refund/credit for the price difference. It would have been nice if the property had let me know ahead of time of the elevator situation so I could have cancelled the reservation and looked elsewhere instead of waiting until checking in to tell me something.

The stay was really nice except for the elevator was down after my first day and I have medical issues with my hip and foot so climbing stairs was very difficult for me and they didn’t try to accommodate me with a ground floor room! A really above board hotel stay except for the elevator, I would have expected more from them to accommodate me!

The location was perfect to view the Total Eclipse. It was highly overpriced, however (but, all hotels were trying to make a buck - and I understand that).
That said, our room was very nice... **BUT**...it was as if someone was moving furniture above us at all times of day/night (1am, 3am, 5am, 2pm, 5pm, 11pm - yes, those are the actual times). And this was for the 3 of the 4 nights we stayed there. We tried to get an upper floor, but 2nd floor (out of 4) was the best they could do. The low frequency THUMP, THUMP, THUMP of the upstairs is the only thing that spoiled the stay. Even with earplugs, the low frequency thump goes right through enough to wake me/us up (we were in bed at 9pm, and awake at 7am ... contrast to times, above). Too bad this expensive hotel couldn't have better floors that would prevent all walking to be EASILY heard in the room below.

Although the room was very clean and tidy, the carpet was very worn with a large tear in it. The bright blue walls in the bedroom and the vivid orange in the kitchen area could probably be updated. Overall, our stay was pleasant and the lady in charge of the breakfast area was exceptionally nice.

Everything was great except for the coffee bar and gym. At approximately 0730 on Saturday I went to get coffee and the creamer in the carafe was completely empty so I was going to use the alternate in the individual cups which was also empty. I looked for assistance and there was nobody at the front desk so I looked in a room adjacent to the kitchen and there was another guest waiting for a middle age woman who was texting on her phone oblivious to us standing there. I informed her that the creamer was empty both the carafe and the individual cups. Is there someone to insure that this is done before the guests arrive whether it be the kitchen staff or front desk? Not sure if management is there on the weekends but at least assign somebody to oversee that everything is stocked and ready to go. Maybe if the staff member was not on her phone in the back room texting this would not have been an issue. Everything else was great!

They couldn’t provide quarters for washing. The rooms were dated and housekeeping was short staffed so couldn’t help much. The breakfast didn’t have much.

It was nice and quiet. The room was nice sized. The bed was comfortable enough. Great water pressure, I actually enjoyed my shower.

Pool had a film of scum across top so we didn’t swim. Air conditioning blasts on and off through the night so loud you can’t sleep. And blows over the top of bed.
