Sonia is fantastic hostess. She was very helpful in every way especially as this is my first trip to Salinas. The room was clean, comfortable, and the Internet was fantastic. Great location, very close to the beachfront, restaurants etc. My appreciative thanks to Sonia for taking such good care of me. Dane Human.

Nice little hotel. Clean. Great pool. Owner eager to please. Rooms are very small. A/C worked well. Breakfast was good. Pillows are the thinnest, skinniest ever, and very hard. They definitely need new pillows.

Salinas is a beach city and after 2 days you have done it all and seen it all. Now the hotel is about 3 blocks away from the main strip. Walking those 3 blocks in the day time is fine, but not night with no street lights and some abandon lots I would not do it. If you could get this hotel for less than 50$ I would stay here if not you are better off staying at a hotel on the main strip which is on the boardwalk. The staff is helpful and the owner is always there and she is great willing to help you with whatever you need. The pool is small and I say no more than 10 people could stay inside it. Breakfast is provided and it has a home style feel to it. They always lock the outside gate and to get in you have to ring a bell. No elevator on this hotel so if you stay in the upper floors you will have to carry you stuff up the stairs. The room is small, but it does its job as most of the time you will be in the beach. You have a small TV and an AC unit which is great. Bathroom is also small and it has a nice shower with towels and soap. There is no closet or safe box in the room. There is nothing that makes you say wow, but for the price its good enough.

Very kind staff. Close to the beach. Our room didn’t have hot water but our friends’ room did.

The property met our needs for the one night we were there. A little noisy with cabs honking their horns through the night, but the shower was refreshing after a long drive from Banos.

The place needs a lot of maintenance, we found that our linen had holes and to many stains, the WiFi never works, cats everywhere, on tables, chairs etc. To loud because the traffic and people in common area. Smoking allowed so fell the taste in our room. In general not happy.
