Room and staff were great. Breakfast was plentiful and okay. Good selection. The scrambled powdered eggs were very watery and flavorless. Coffee was especially bad. So weak it was almost clear and totally flavorless. A silly thing to cut corners on and a simple thing that could be improved to make the stay exceptional.

TLDR - Front Desk overbooked the hotel by mistake and gave me the run around while being very rude. I arrived around 12:30 AM for my checkin, when I arrived I was told my room was given away because my card "declined". At this point I was confused and tired and just wanted a room to stay for the night. I tried to book another room but was refused. They then proceed to process a refund for me even though my card was "declined".

Bed was very uncomfortable. Breakfast not good but its free atleast. Was best option in the area at the time for us. Ok for one night but dont except to sleep comfortably unless you like stiff beds.

my other half and i stayed here with our dog. it was nice. we opted to walk up and down three flights of stairs every day, but there is an elevator, the room was spacious. there was a cute little pond with toads (the pond was a little dirty, idk if the toads cared) if we find ourselves in cambridge we would stay here again.

Always appreciate being able to have coffee/tea for guests at the entrance, early am and pm, (although we do miss the fab iced lemon water) the coffee/tea are such a treat after a long day on the road or for early departures. Not even the so called "boutique hotel" we stayed at the night before had a drop of beverages by 645 am or checkin afternoon or pm. Our desk clerk was AWESOME, shame on me to not catch her name, hope mgr can find her on Tues July 23 @ 3pm. AC worked like a charm in the terrible heat of the day/nights. Bedding is crisp white, smells clean and is soft to sleep in, beds are not broken down. Aspects of the room/furniture are dated as many mention in their reviews but it doesnt matter to us. Breakfast niche is clean and the food basic and palatable fare, hostess's over the years are wonderful. Staff have done their very best to accomodate particular requests over the years.Gretchen is the mgr and over the past few years & during the covid era, we have seen her working hard to make the hotel a success; any issues she will address.The only drawback of the stay is we had to go back home. We love Cambridge, wish we could visit more often. Thanks again for a another great visit, from Judy & Paul

We spent the night here so we could make an early visit to Blackwater National Refuge. But not before we enjoyed a great, hot breakfast! My grandkids loved the waffles!!

Our vacation was ruined because when we went to check-in, they had gave our room to someone else. I guess someone else paid more money for it. I had already paid for the room.Also, we had to drive around for 2 hours trying to find another place to stay.

For our trip to Cambridge, it met the need. It was relatively clean and let friendly. The breakfast was OK. Front desk staff was polite and helpful.

The room was comfortable and basically clean until the day before we left. We had a sealed Tastykake (individual cake) unopened on the desk. When I picked it up there were hundreds of ants. Threw it away and used Clorox wipes to wipe everything down. They just kept coming back. After about the 10th time disinfecting we would only see a couple. We did tell the front desk and they did offer to switch our room. Because they were isolated to the desk we stayed the last night. Staff was nice

I enjoyed having a good room with comfortable beds, good bathroom, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, breakfast room, indoor pool (didn't use it), free parking, easy access. Not much around but there's a Diner within walking distance with a good selection of food. Staff was amazing!
