Convenient location. Quiet setting. Exercise room not in service. Great staff. Hotel carpets stained and showing their age.

The hotel was a little dated , but very clean. The staff was very courteous. Taryn was an excellent host. She informed us of the benefits of the Hilton Honors program and provided a lot of helpful suggestions for things to do!

We've booked at Hampton InnSuiteAustinLakeway since 2/29/24 for1 night on5/25/24 when we arrived at the hotel the guy at the front desk said they couldn't find our itinerary number,I showed my# at the Expedia website and the email from hotel sent to me 1 day before to check in online and asked him to explain it so I could understand, he texted back and forth to his boss for a while and then said sorry it was last time I gave a bad review to them then they cancel my reservation?this is my first time in Austin and booked a hotel with them, they can't do that with the client because that reason?I wish I could record our entire conversation as evidence,I think the hotel has cameras that record video. because they felt that we were Asian people who didn't understand much English so they could say whatever they wanted and treat us like that. They wanted us to leave in the middle of the night without a satisfactory solution other than saying sorry we were full and the surrounding hotels were also full, if I was not satisfied with their solution, either I contact Expedia or call the police!!! We were tired, hungry, and angry, and we couldn't find Expedia's customer service number It was a terrible evening to start our visit to Austin. After spending 1 hour contacting Expedia we got the room at Moutain Star 5 minutes away, we had to endure and go through a period of pressure and fatigue!!! it's so sad because we don't know whose fault it is and why what happened to us,our trip unhappy

1st. The air conditioner was not strong enough. It was always too warm. We would lower it, but it was not enough because in a while it would get hot again. it would turn off too soon.
2nd. The shower was extremely hot and it was difficult to adjust it to get cold water again. we were not able to get a good and comfortable shower. We did complaint to the receptionist, but the next morning it was the same. Nothing was done to correct the problem.
3rd . The breakfast menu needs to be improved. For example, the scrambled eggs needed some sides like onions, tomatoes, or some type of salsa. The omelettes were tasteless, some other ingredients besides cheese would have been better tasting. Vegetable sides would have been good. The boiled eggs could have been peeled. The coffee was very good.
Sorry about this complaint, but we feel we had to say something.

I've stayed here several times when my a/c is out at my apartment. It is comfortable and close to home, however, I do always bring my own sheets & pillow because they use sheets that are polyester or microfiber, which will make you sweat at night.

I had to cancel the last two nights because of surgery. Hampton Inn indicated they were going to charge for one night I didn’t stay and refund me for the third. I have not received the third night refund. After another medical procedure this Friday I will see if Hampton is still unwilling to refund me for two nights paid? If this gets declined I will never stay at Hampton again and I will let my family members to stay away from Hampton and to all of my friends the same.

When we arrived, the elevator was broken and someone was stuck on it. For the two of us, we got one decent towel so I requested new ones and they gave us the kind you step on to get out of the shower, which definitely did not suffice. Also, the tables in the breakfast area were sticky.

We have stayed here before and it was phenomenal. This time not so much. The jacuzzi tub was fabulous! However, the bed was so uncomfortable that my husband and I couldn’t sleep at all and the pillows had zero support. We actually went to a nearby retail store our second day to get an egg crate pad for the bed and new pillows in order to get some rest. If the bed weren’t enough of an issue, the microwave wouldn’t work as it turned off after a minute and was down for five. We also had a family above us that allowed their child to literally run up and down the room from 8 at night until almost midnight and started again at six in the morning until we left at 10 that morning. I have never been more disappointed. If we stay here again we might consider a different room. The reason for the at least three stars was our check-in person, Roxy was wonderful and gave us some great customer service!

Not much hotel for the price. I’ve stayed in far better hotels for $250/night. Beds could definitely be more comfortable. Sheets & towels were low quality. Breakfast was unimpressive.
Staff was friendly & helpful. The two ladies that checked us in were great. Even the housekeepers that I passed in the halls were friendly. By nature, I speak to almost everyone so that was a great asset to this hotel. Don’t change that. Your team makes all the difference

Staff great. On first glance, Decent enough, but the comforter smelled like sweat- disgusting. The carpet hasn’t been shampooed in way too long. For 200.00 everyone should expect and demand CLEAN. Basic hospitality.
