Friendly hotel. Very accommodating to 6 ladies.

The mattress was broke down in 223. needs replacement. The rest of the hotel was nice & adequate for my stay.

Hotel was overall clean. The issue we had is that we checked in, went up to the room, and the door to the bathroom wouldn’t stay closed. It’s a sliding barn door that closes between the closet and the bathroom which is a horrible design because there is a huge crack in the bathroom door where you can hear everything ( and see if you are walking by because the crack is so big). Why would you ever put a sliding barn door on a bathroom???? So, I called and asked if we could have another room, and the person on duty said she would come to help us figure out a way to close it. I waited 30 minutes—no one showed. I went down to the desk, and she had forgotten. I asked again for another room because we had both injured our hands trying to figure out how to keep the door to the bathroom closed, and she finally agreed to try to find us another room. It was just a huge hassle when we were exhausted and wanted to just come in and rest. Also, the AC was weird, so we had to figure that out as well. There was a wall control, but we finally figured out that we had to control it from the AC unit and not the wall. Just too much of a pain overall when we just wanted to crash and rest after a long day.

We could never get the TV to work. Had someone in the main office come and do it for us that evening. That morning is still wouldn’t turn on.

We got there around 10 pm. I was tired and just wanted to get setlled. Easy to check in and got to our room. It was warm and muggy in the room. Went to the front and told the lady at the desk. She suggested to adjust the thermostat. Went back up. Waited 10-15 minutes. Still didnt get cool. The room was also missing a light bulb, no big deal on that. Called down to the front and got a different room. Front desk lady was nice. Air conditioning worked in the new room so that was good. However, after a few times to the restroom the toilet wouldnt flush the toilet paper. I said Ill tell them in the morning. I just wanted to go to bed. Lastly, the shower had mildew around the edge but we werent showering so I wasnt concerned about it. I let the front desk know when we were leavinv about the toilet. Ill end on a positive note. My sheets, my pillows and blankets were very clean and the staff was nice. If you ask me if I would stay again I wouldnt. 2 different rooms 2 different problems.

Easy to reach and park. Close to downtown, good restaurants. Friendly, helpful receptionist. Environment-friendly.

I was surprised at how run down the hotel is. The carpeting is loose and coming up. There are patches on it where it’s torn. There’s busted tiles throughout. Our room was not clean when we got there. The front desk sent someone to clean it quickly though. It’s a good place for a nights stay. It’s just not being kept up very well.

First room we were in had the sink drain disconnected and as my son washed his hands, the dirty water flooded the floor. The hallway carpet on the 2nd floor was very loose and wrinkled and didn’t look like it had been vacuumed in some time. The pool was dirty with quite a bit of sand. The staff was very aloof and made it seem an imposition when we purchased some drinks from the snack station.
