Excellent little hotel in historic downtown Montrose with spacious room and wonderful shower.

It was perfect except no coffee maker, fridge or microwave in the room. Still awesome. The staff are genuinely wonderful. Also, the theater next door is delightful! Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here while visitng Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Very well appointed interior and comfortable with a good location in town. We were in a first floor room adjacent to the Bar and could hear bar noise until it closed. Would recommend requesting a 2nd floor room. Also, first floor rooms only had one window very high up on wall-fire safety? The room did not have a mini fridge, which we missed having. All said, we would definitely stay here again as it seemed to be the nicest accommodation in town and a great location.

Beautiful hotel, located in an excellent area. From the first moment, we felt at home. The attention to detail is constant, 24/7, and everyone is so kind. The hotel is top-notch, with astonishing cleanliness. I highly recommend it!

This hotel is in a great location with super easy entry into Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Walkable to a few shops and restaurants and within a quick 5-10 minute drive to even more shops, breweries, etc. Lots of parking right in front. The hotel is new and super clean. Huge rooms with vaulted ceilings. Extremely clean. Very cute coffee and cocktail bar on the lower level. We had one minor issue with the water during our stay and staff was quick to make this right. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Staying at this hotel was one of the best decisions of my vacation. The property is beautiful and upscale. The rooms are elegant, the cleanliness is impeccable, and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend this hotel for a luxurious and memorable stay.

The hotel was new and simple, but very nice. There is no front desk to check in. They email you a passcode that gets you into the building and the room. The code works at 4pm of check in and stops at checkout time of your last day.
Room was clean and comfortable. They coffee shop and bar in the front was staffed w very nice and kind people, who were helpful.
We had a nice time over three nights, and enjoyed our time as we explored the national park and surrounding area.

This Historic building is now a lovely hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive. We were sent a text in advance with check in directions and the keypad door entry was very convenient. Street parking is convenient, but it wasn’t explained until after we were checked in that we could ignore the “two hour limit” parking signs.
Our first-floor room was well appointed with a large modern bathroom. Unfortunately, it felt like a basement room with very high ceilings and a window that was too high up on the wall to see out. Definitely request a second floor room with full-length windows.
The “parlor” is a small public bar with a few cafe tables. It was a little weird to pull our bags through it to get to our room. It was also awkward to request ice for our room at the bar.
Coffee and pastries are available at the bar/parlor, but only the drip coffee is complimentary. It would have been nice to at least be able to serve your own coffee from the pump coffee dispenser rather than having to wait for the attendant who was away from her post.

We didn’t understand this is a keyless hotel - the room had and industrial smell although obviously new.
No room service and no real amenities like a minibar inside room. Big miss for business traveler. I would not stay here again.

The room is definitely “fashion over function”.
While everything was very new and very nice. It lacked many of the basic amenities that even the most average hotel typically offers.
The shower with three modern showerheads did not get warm. The picturesque window in the bathroom was situated directly in front of the bathtub, so you have to close the blackout shades and remove the soothing natural light to avoid flashing the town.
The internet was not fast enough to stream, despite offering a smart tv. The blackout curtains let a substantial amount of the streetlight in. And the lovely Bluetooth speaker they offer possessed no charge.
This Instagram worthy hotel room is worth maybe half this price. And none of that price is going to the staff apparently, because there isn’t even a welcoming front desk, they text you a code to the door and process you like a machine.

Charming hotel conveniently located in town. The furnishings were great quality and both the queen bed and sleeper sofa were very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was amazing! There is a bar at street level that is open in the evenings, which also serves a variety of coffee during the day.
