Our stay in Nagoya was overall enjoyable, but this hotel came with its fair share of quirks.
Let’s start with the positives. The room we stayed in was massive—especially by Japanese standards—and the view was absolutely incredible. Breakfast was also a highlight, offering a good selection to start the day. We had club lounge access, which was a nice touch, though honestly, I wouldn’t go out of my way to pay extra for it if it wasn’t included.
That said, there were a few downsides. The hotel is situated right above the train line, and the noise really carries. There’s even a note in the room explaining this, with earplugs offered if it becomes an issue. For light sleepers, this might be a deal-breaker.
We also experienced a minor hiccup with the cleanliness of the room, but to the hotel’s credit, the staff were incredibly responsive and resolved the issue quickly. I’d chalk it up to a one-off oversight.
As for the location, I can’t really comment since we had a car (parking is 2,500 yen per night). However, Nagoya itself was wonderful, and despite a few setbacks, we had a pleasant stay. If you’re not bothered by train noise, this hotel has a lot to offer!

My family and I had a very pleasant 4 days 3 nights stay at the Nagoya Prince Hotel Sky Tower. This hotel is located only 1 stop from Nagoya Station to Sasashima Station via the Aonami Line, the same train to the Legoland as the final stop.
Once you come off the Sasashima Station, everything is covered under the roof all the way to the Sky Tower. It saved us from walking in the rain/hot sun.
This hotel offers a posh feel, similar to The Shard in London. The reception and Sky Dining are both located on the 31st floor with magnificent views of Nagoya. We tried the Hawaiian buffet dinner, it was delicious with breath taking views at night. It would be perfect if it has a public bath like other Prince Hotel branches, however we have been using the bath tub in our room as private bath which is great too.
Overall, will highly recommend if you are looking for a luxury/romantic trip for couples as well as comfortable family stay.

1 Stop away from Nagoya Station. Beautiful View of the Nagoya Station train track, stayed here with a 3.5yr old toddler the couch (movable) rotated to the corner makes a perfect toddler's bed. My boy loved the view from his bed. 5/5 hotel for Nagoya.

Nice hotel, staffs are great, they put my transfer luggage in my room before we even arrived. The room we stayed was very humid, the celling has molds, the blanket feels a little wet from the humidity, we turned on AC and dehumidifier, didn't help much.

We booked two club rooms on the top floor of this immaculately maintained hotel. The views of the city from the room and the Club Lounge were beautiful day and night. It is an easy one stop ride on the Aonami line from Nagoya Station. The Club lounge is beautiful and well stocked. I just wish that it stayed open until 10:00 p.m. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were of adequate size.

I absolutely loved my stay here the view was gorgeous, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was great! I would highly recommend this hotel, due to the closeness of restaurants and stores near the area, the proximity to a train station, and the overall hotel itself. Five star would love to visit again!!
