Hard to get someone
At the front desk. Treadmill didn't work. Mini shampoo/conditioner bottles left in the room were near empty. Kleenex box was empty. Breakfast was sub par. Staff was friendly though.

There was no breakfast at all despite our choosing this hotel in part for included breakfast. We waited until 7:15 am (breakfast was supposed to start at 6:00). No one ever came to set up food, no one was at the front desk, and no one answered when we tried to call the front desk. The bathroom sink was cracked, the tissue box was empty, the shampoo bottle was half empty, there was no soap in the tub, and the bed spread was stained. When we left, there was no one to check us out. Other guests had just thrown their key cards on the chair behind the desk.

Clean and comfortable. Affordable for one night which traveling. New owners in process of remodeling. Will probably be even better in the future. Big parking lot for truck and trailer. Close to Walmart and several restaurants.

I think the guy inside bought it and turned it into a Quality Inn? And just recently too. So maybe the problems will improve as he works on it? The man inside was friendly, but he was there EVERY time we saw someone, so I think he's literally the owner and only staff maybe?
The room's mini fridge had been removed (sadly, since we needed it). It seemed like the room hadn't been used for a very long time. It was stuffy when we came in so I turned on the AC and black stuff blew out onto the bed. Not a big deal, but made me think it'd been awhile.
Bathroom looked recently renovated - very nice but the shower curtain was too high for the tub. It barely stayed on the tub when it was pushed together at the wall, but if you opened it to spread over the shower it was on a curved rod, so it just dangled way out away from the shower, allowing water to the floor.
The gym was 2 treadmills that didn't turn on, a stationary bike that you could pedal but didn't turn "on", a chest press bar, but with only 1 set of weights available that were too heavy for any of us.
Breakfast was yogurt, waffle, 2 kinds of cereal and muffins. Juice machine was inactive, so only tea, coffee or milk to drink. They had bread for toast, but no jelly.
No ice machine.
Neat vending machine was only 75 cents for a canned drink. Sadly only 2 of the 5(?) options available..
Bed is WAY too soft for my taste, but others might like it. Pillows were great.
Overall, I wish the price had been cut to match the cut amenities

The over night stay was good and conviniently next to a Walmart. Beds where in decent condition and the TV offered YT that saved the night for the kids. Breakfast was good and ready for anyone walking by for a quick check out, Just grab and go, which is the way we preferred, instead of having the food in another room. The only problem i really had was the smell of fresh coat paint on the hallways. But I will give them a pass since it looked freshly remodeled and looking better then the previous franchise (days inn, never liked them anyways) Keep up the great work Quality inn. You'll be seeing more of us in future travels.

I believe this hotel is being up grated and is still in the process. The parking area is not marked well
Hopefully that will.be taken care of. There were only two carts neither of which worked well. Hopefully that will be addressed also. The room was clean and well stocked.

I was leery after they first gave us the key to an occupied room. Thankfully the occupants were out smoking when we walked in. The entire property smelled heavily of curry, including the rooms. The air conditioner in the room was very loud, but we had to keep it on. The toilet was loud too for some reason. We had to keep the bathroom door shut our entire stay because the pipes made a continuous loud whining sound.
Probably the worst room I booked on Hotels.com in the past 15 years. The staff was really kind and friendly, so I hate leaving a bad review, but it was the misleading 8.0 stars that led us to a sleepless and incredibly uncomfortable night, and I don't want to contribute to someone else's misery.

New ownership. Newly remodeled, clean. Large rooms. Safe and friendly staff. Simple breakfast, but adequate.

This was the best stay in McAllister, excellent higiene and very kind staff. The breakfast was outstanding

The young man at the counter was courteous and friendly. The room was huge, updated and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only thing I didn’t care for was that the room smelled like it may have been smoked in before or musty/mildewy?

Interesting remodel. They slapped new granite on old furniture in decent shape but not new. They installed an enclosed shower on top of the old one but with a low ceiling so that my 6ft son had to crouch. Odd place, however staff was friendly and place is very clean.

Loved it here. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The customer service was top notch. They clean everyday and the housekeepers are so nice. I'll definitely stay again.

This hotel is recently under new management and being renovated. We were worried when we pulled into the lot and there was only 1 vehicle there, but it was great! Super quiet since I think there were only 3 rooms booked that night. The room was spacious, clean and nice. Breakfast was cereal, yogurt, cider, muffins, waffles, hard boiled eggs. The waffles were amazing! Would definitely stay again if in the area. They are working on getting associated with a brand name franchise but just aren't there yet.

It appears that the hotel has changed ownership and is no longer a Days Inn. There were no other cars in parking lot. No towels or coffee cups in rooms. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Breakfast was only waffles or packaged muffins. Probably would not stay again

We arrived early but check-in was not a problem. The room was clean and had all of the amenities (coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, TV, etc.).
Free breakfast in the morning andca friendly smile from check-in to check-out.
The hotel is under new management and seems to be going through some updates but it was quiet and comfortable.

Stayed here for one night. The price of the rooms was perfect for our budget. Rooms were clean with free WiFi. The hotel is close to restaurants and Walmart. Breakfast in the morning was nice. Would stay again.

I stayed at this hotel for only one night, arriving at 11 pm and leaving early in the morning while on my way to Texas. It was a great experience. The rooms were spacious and clean. I particularly liked the rooms because they had comfortable beds . The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. I highly recommend staying here. The price is reasonable. I would rate it 5 out of 5 for value

Clean and spacious room, cozy comforters, free wifi, small breakfast and pleasant lighting in the room with fridge and microwave. Nice elegant look from the outside. Worth it.

If I could leave a review with 10 stars I would. I absolutely loved my stay here.
When I stay in hotels I prefer not to be fussed with too much, so this hotel is absolutely perfect for me. Easy check-in with clear instructions and a fast response if you’ve got any questions. The room was comfortable and cozy, decorated impeccably. The hotel is quiet, not too busy. I extended my stay on very short notice and they were more than accommodating..

Pops up when you put in hotels and it's a motel... It's cheap and they don't even have a good breakfast.... Waffles and toast and packaged muffins and nasty looking bananas

Great service. Overall clean. New ownership. Only a couple of cons. TV did not work....was fine as we arrived late and just needed to shower and sleep. Bed was a little stiff. Also, the curtains in our room need to be replaced. Stained. Overall it was a good stay. Would stay again.

Good staff and pleasant atmosphere with spacious rooms and a great parking space. Will visit again for sure.
