Misleading name. Thought the road had a pool and jacuzzi but nothing like that.
Thought I booked a suite with 2 queen beds but got 2 old Tony very uncomfortable beds. Ac was week, cleanliness to be desired, yes TV, very loud ( we could hear people going back and forth and people having breakfast outside our window in te morning.
Worst stay ever and I could have gone in a 4 stars. Hire in the best area of Marrakech with a pool with half the price ( which I did the following day...) to be avoided

Way Overpriced, misleading description of a spa.
I feel cheated!
I found an extremely nice hotel 4 stars in the nicest area of Marrakesh and it was only 800 Mad (about $80)
That ryad should have charged us $30. It was more like a bed and breakfast with very uncomfortable beds and sheets, no TV, no AC... Terrible

Overall a really lovely hotel! My only negatives were that door locks were not very secure and a little more choice food wise would have been great.

We booked this hotel based on web reviews and we weren't disappointed. The start wasn't great as we quickly discovered you should arrange a transfer direct to the front door in order to avoid locals wanting excessive tips for insisting on taking you to the front door if the Riad to the point they wanted more than the a taxi the driver and fuel from the airport. This isn't a critism of the Riad and is clearly something to bear in mind across Marrakech. Whilst this left a bad taste it was soon turned round by this beautiful Riad it's friendly and attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble from bottles of water to booking taxis for us. The breakfasts were typical morrocan very filling with fresh orange juice, coffee, local breads yoghurt and various morrocan pastries. We also ate here a couple of times during our stay and can recommend the food. If your looking for a five star western hotel this isn't the place for you. But if you want to get a feel for a genuine morrocan Riad in the heart of the souks of Marrakech with all the comfort required then I would thoroughly recommend Riad dar El Aila

Very happy with this riad. If you after a genuine morocco experience then this is the place to go. Great atmosphere, good food, fantastic staff. The riad is alittle hard to find, and is off some dark back streets but this is all part of the Marrakech experience!
