Sometimes it’s the little touches in a hotel that make you feel truly special, and during my brief two-night stay at the Altis Avenida, I was incredibly impressed. I arrived late on Tuesday evening after a long layover, traveling to Lisbon for business. From the moment my taxi pulled up, the experience was fantastic. The doorman greeted me by name as he opened the door—such a warm, personal touch! Inside, check-in was smooth and efficient, and I must say, Rui is an absolute credit to the hotel. Friendly and helpful, he even accompanied me to my room, providing all the information I needed. It was, without a doubt, one of the best welcomes I’ve ever had to a hotel.. The room itself was modern and well-appointed. It included a mini bar fridge, complimentary coffee, tea, water, and a lovely bottle of wine that I thoroughly enjoyed. The bed was comfortable, and the free WiFi was fast, allowing me to cast to the TV, which was a nice feature. The TV could perhaps be a bit larger and more up-to-date, but that’s a minor detail. The bathroom was stocked with everything I needed, and the shower was outstanding—great water pressure! I had breakfast at the hotel on Wednesday morning, and the experience was equally delightful. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant with wonderful views. After breakfast, I enjoyed a coffee outside, taking in the beauty of Lisbon—a perfect start to my day. Amazing hotel

I did not tell my husband about the hotel prior to our arrival. He was shocked at how perfect it was, especially with the Rossio bar at the top with an incredible, wrap around view of the city and the hills. Our room had beautiful decor which opened to a view with a juliette balcony. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is in the center of the city. I definitely recommend!

This hotel was in a perfect area across from the train station. We had a room with beautiful views of Lisbon. Everything was walkable, including shopping, and countless dining options. The staff were friendly & accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

I had been travelling for 10 days with my friends before treating myself for 3 nights at the Altis Avenida Hotel, and I'm so happy I did! As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and secure. The staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful, and considerate, and the location was perfect. I spent comfortable downtime in my room between trips out for shopping and food. These relaxing 3 days were exactly what I needed!

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in . The staff is the best part of the hotel . Customer service is brilliant . Spent my 10 year wedding anniversary here and it was the best decision, we had an amazing experience. I highly recommend. I want to specially thank the manager Frederico Vidal, he was amazing ! Helped us navigate our way around Lisbon !! 5 star !

The hotel is tired. The rooms will need to be updated soon. HOWEVER, the AMAZING customer service makes up for this. The staff here is wonderful. The view from the restaurant is amazing. I would stay here again.

The location is great for those who want to walk and enjoy that part of the city. Public transportation is easily accessible. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast buffet was always fresh with a wide range of options. The room was clean, comfortable bed and offered a great view. This was my second time choosing this hotel for my stay in Lisboa.
