Wonderful place to stay. Chantale et Jean Paul very sweet, welcoming, extremely helpful and attentive.
Truly a boutique hotel in best sense of the word. An oasis in the area of quiet, calm, peaceful garden with fruit trees, replete with an excellent cat.
Breakfast superb!! Healthy even with fruit from the garden with something specially home made every morning. A high point of our trip.
Shower excellent.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Stylish, uncluttered, quiet and relaxing.
Jean Paul is a great host. We arrived during his holiday due to a booking error. We were the only guests. He made us feel welcome and made sure we were happy with our stay.

Wonderful guesthouse in Faro in short walking distance to charming streets in the old part of the city with restaurants and cafés. The guesthouse is completely renovated in a simplistic and tasteful style, modern while keeping an authentic feel. Our room was very clean and beautifully decorated, with a gorgeous view of the lush garden surrounding the pool and courtyard. Everything is very well maintained. The homemade breakfast was incredible and Jean Paul and his staff are making sure you will feel most welcome and at home in this place. A great place to relax and unwind, and a good location for exploring the Algarve. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

I went to Faro for a quick solo trip and Casa Apollo was the perfect accommodation. Jean-Paul and his small but mighty team are incredible hosts. My room happened to be a suite and it was so wonderfully decorated: smelled amazing, newly redone bathrooms, shower pressure was incredible, had AC, and there were materials for tea and coffee.
There is a wonderful breakfast buffet setup in the mornings that's also Covid-safe by managing the amount of guests that attend at once (you sign up on a chalkboard for your timeslot the day before).
I loved exploring Faro and other nearby towns, then coming back to lounge by the pool, and it was never crowded (I think at most, there were four of us out there).
Location: A ten minute ride from the airport and so easy to get a cab or Uber. Also walking distance from shopping and restaurants, including a great little drink spot (Madalena) with music across the street. It's also a 5 minute walk from the Faro train station.
I'm an American living in London but I think most other guests were French, so multiple languages are spoken onsite with no issue.
Casa Apollo really, really made my trip to Faro. They can also recommend so wonderufl restaurants in Faro, and in a few other nearby towns like Olhao.

Very close to the centre of old town but still quiet. Modern and stylish interior but comfortable. Excellent breakfast options of good quality.
