Loved staying at Latch Inn. Very quaint.
Breakfast was wonderful! Our hosts were
great! The bed was comfy and we could open our
window onto the covered balcony so our room was not
too hot or too cool.

The hotel itself was really cool and rustic. The hotel had a bit of an old house smell. Can't really describe it beyond old house smell. Our room however had a distinct smelly foot/sock or smelly dog smell. Keep in mind we were in a pet friendly room so maybe that was why? But the carpet was was very dirty looking and the whole room smelled pretty bad. We opened the windows to get some fresh air but the boat repair next door was running power tools literally all night. I woke up at 2am to some sort of sander/grinder noise. It has amazing potential to be a super romantic spot. The lounge is beautiful and cozy and the man hosting while we were there was so friendly and accommodating. I just had a hard time with the odor and the all night noise from the next door boat repair place.

Excellent hosts, but condition of room below average. Carpet was worn and dirty, in need of deep cleaning or replacement. Room was musty and malodorous, helped somewhat by opening all windows, but a limited option given outdoor temps. Suggest clean linens at least every other day as well as emptying the one very small trash can. Breakfast was well done.

The 2 managers are very courteous and eager to help.
Getting in was a problem, no one answered phone calls or replied to emails.
Plumbing is old and very poor instructions on our to use the tub and shower.

This is such a funky old property with a long history. The location is lovely and even during a heat dome, the ocean breeze is felt. AC was not missed during our summer stay here. The rooms and common areas have both old world charm and refinement (pristine bathrobes provided). If you want modern and clinical, go somewhere else. The staff are beyond accommodating and we felt very welcomed. The breakfast exceeded expectations! Multiple choices, nice linens, excellent in every way. We will definitely be back.

The Inn is beautiful. Gorgeous views of the harbor and wonderful location. Though miscellaneous objects and appliances, etc., under the porch that you see when you pull up to the front should be put out of sight or off site. That’s my only criticism. Otherwise the staff is very pleasant and hospitable, and the breakfasts were excellent. Don’t know if we will be back because we live very far away. But we would definitely stay at The Latch Inn again.

Super quiet, gorgeous views, excellent staff, and feels as comfortable as home while being in a small hotel. The bathrooms could be more modern but they are adequate and lend to the overall charm of the property

Things to know. The property is in a sad state of repair and management. My fireplace didn't work. The TV could only get local channels. The shower was not setup well resulting in having to hug the wall to get under the water. I never did figure out how to heat or cool the rooms. While the breakfast was good, the muffins were stale and there was no de-caffeinated coffee. There is no one site after 6:00 PM. We were so very disappointed. Will not be back.
