This hotel was charming and beautiful. It was in a great location. Walkable to many sites. This hotel was maintained and very clean. Our room was a spacious room with a living area and a bedroom. There was a malfunction lock on our bathroom door that caused me to get locked in the bathroom for nearly an hour. My husband had already fallen asleep when I took a shower and could not unlock the door. I locked it to try to keep it from opening. My husband did wake up after I knocked loud enough and he went to get assistance from the hotel. A staff member had to use a screwdriver to turn the lock mechanism from the hallway side, which unlocked the bathroom door. That 3rd floor bathroom door lock should be replaced. I had my phone charging in another room, it was a very cold night, a fire hazard, and no way to get help if I was alone. There was the police gathered in front of the hotel plaza downstairs that I could see from the bathroom window that I was considering to yell for help if I could not get out.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel in the center of Florence. The staff is very courteous and they go out of their way to meet your needs. We did a lot of walking and we appreciated the large size of our suite and the views from multiple room windows. The hotel is very close to major attractions and you can even walk to and from the train station as we did, although towing your luggage on cobblestones (as one does in Italy) does lose its luster after awhile. We found this hotel and Florence to be very romantic, would stay here again.

We stayed on the top floor and the room was spectacular! From the comfortable bed to the astonishing view from our upper patio to the wonderful service (especially Santiago) the hotel was perfect. It is also ideally located to walk anywhere in old Florence within 15 minutes and restaurants everywhere.

The staff were excellent, the hotel was amazing!! Location absolutely perfect!!! The attention to detail was superb. I can’t say enough good things about the staff everyone was absolutely the best!!! There was one particular young lady that was beyond helpful and sweet!!! Loved it, they truly made our stay one to remember!!! Thank you so very much!!! Florence is amazing!!!

Hotel is in an excellent location about 15 mins walking from train station and near to most attractions. Hotel is nice and staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. Room was nice, clean and spacious - wouldn’t say luxury but ideal if you want something centralised. Only one criticism was my daughter has a peanut allergy so we asked for no peanuts in the room which there was on arrival even though mentioned on booking 😌

We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. We had a spectacular view of the dome. While they do not garntee you will have that view... Based on their service I believe they will make every effort to provide it.
