I provided a Stellar Review of this Property. I failed to include the Private Restaurant Consesstion! On my first one day stay at this property, and Because I was traveling onward. I decided to just give the 'Chef' two beautiful 1/4 lb Pork Chops and 3/4 lbs of Premium Virginia Ham ($$). Yesterday the last day of my stay. I provided 'Them' a Special Bread item to be included in a Lunch order I thought that I made with the 'Cook'. He then informed me at 1:40 pm that the 'Concession' was closing in 20 minutes! He was obviously 'Pissed Off At Me'!! Supposedly a 8am- 4pm operation? After about 30+ minutes, I went to the kitchen only to see my bread sitting on the outside counter. I asked the 'Chef' why It was just abandoned there. Only to be looked at like I had "Two Heads". I inquired that perhaps I could have some food prepared at that time? Only to be Rebuffed. As they claimed 'they' were Closed For Business! At 2:05pm.? I was traveling the next morning, so I asked 'Them' to Pls perpare a bearkfast sandwich with the bread I provided. Only to be told that 'They' didn't have any Ham to make it with. Only Eggs. I then provided them with a 240oz package of Virginia Ham. I mentioned to 'Them' that I was leaving for the airport at 10:00am and I needed it by then. Now I had Three heads!! I knew right then I was Getting Nothing before my departure to the airport. Believe me I got Nothing. I just said "Enjoy some more Free Ham" and I left this morning 'Disappointed and Disgusted. FM!

When I booked Pachamaya at the last moment due to flight cancellations I was merely looking for a place to stay, but what I got was surprizing and unexpected in a very good way.
They are a holistic wellness center and deserve the stars they have. The lady at the reception, Lucero was friendly and courteous. Tho I was unable to attend their wellness activities, I did take advantage of their spa services and it provided the much needed theraputic relaxation.
The room was not sound proof but I had restful sleep both nights I stayed with them.
Several great food options around the place. Safe neighborhood for pedestrians.

This is an awesome hotel, great vibe, and awesome staff. This place is located very close to the ADO if you plan on taking trips. Whenever I come back to Cancun, I will be staying here again.

Pachamaya is a good basic place to stay. The room was clean, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. My only complaints are that the king bed was hard as a rock and hurt my back so
I spent the majority of the nights on the bunk bed. There was no fridge in the room and there was no TV. The only fridge is in the lobby so if I wanted to grab a cold beer I had to go get it out of the communal lobby fridge. I disliked the lack of trash cans in the room as it was small and I had to frequently take garbage out to the pool area cans. Overall I had a nice stay and as I said one major plus was the advice and guidance from
Staff like Roy, Flora, and Fernando.
I would certainly stay at Pachamaya again just because of how awesome the staff was. I had a nice massage and enjoyed the food at the hotel restaurant. Be advised the pool temperature is very warm so it is not very refreshing but it is very clean.

Very clean, in good repair, great location, walkable, classy restaurants, but also cheap eats easily accessible. I would not trust the hotel/hostel staff to coordinate any type of airport transport as they are not organized.

Don't hesitate - book Pachamaya if you can. I was lucky to stay here before they were fully open, and the owners have an amazing vision for this spot. You can tell how much they care, and their staff care just as much. It's peaceful, relaxing, and well-appointed, with thoughtful extra touches. Lots of great common space, and I had a hard time leaving the pool / hot tub area. Convenient location in the historic original neighbourhood. If I'm ever back to Cancun, I'll be back to Pachamaya.

Pachamaya was a stunning property! I felt honored to be one of the first to stay here. My fiancé and I came for a short 3 day stay over New Year’s weekend. The owners and staff were all very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They gave great recommendations on where to go, eat, transportation to the beach and events in the hotel. The pool was beautiful and clean and the restaurant’s food was very delicious, eating at the restaurant is a MUST. Very clean room with thoughtfully planned out amenities, the air conditioning worked very well, there was great water pressure, hot water, complimentary water and shampoo, conditioner and soap in the bathrooms. The owners made us feel at home, they are still adding to the property and it’s very exciting. We didn’t want to leave and we can’t wait to come back! Thank you Paula, Fernanda and Fernando!
