We had a fantastic stay at Northern Lodges. It was truly a one of a kind experience that we’ll remember forever. Being up on the mountain with no one else in sight was surreal. But we felt very taken care of at the same time should we need anything. The views were breathtaking and we made good use of the sauna and food delivery offerings. Highly recommend this unique experience!

The lodge is very nice, and the hosts are very accomodative. Definitely recommended!
We stayed there for 3N but it took us a while to get acquainted with the lodge. The sleeping area is small, but if you keep the place tidy it's quite nice.
The sauna is pretty cool as it runs on wood. The only downside is that the shower is inside the sauna and it takes ~1h for the water to warm up. However, it was an experience! There is nothing that beats taking a shower after a long sauna in the middle of all that snow.
Same comment for the campfire, it takes a while to start and it was frigid but well worth it as an experience. The lodge provides a pack of popcorn to grill on the campfire, it's a very fun activity (we burnt the popcorn though). Fortunately, we made some S'mores bought at the local supermarket to compensate.
It's quite annoying that the lodge is so close to a ski lift, during the day there is no privacy, unfortunately. Before booking, I recommend checking at what time does the ski lift close. When we stayed there, on one day it closed at 9PM (annoyingly late) while on the other at 4PM so it was ok.
A few final notes:
- On check-in / check-out the hosts will take you on a snowmobile from the parking to the lodge, but on other days you might need to walk (20mins down and 1h up). Please coordinate well with the lodge.
- All amenities provided, the only things we thought lacked were: waterproof slippers to walk from room to sauna, hairdrier, and small boiler in the room.
