We had a wonderful stay at the cozy, quaint Wapiti Lodge! The owners welcomed us and filled us in on everything we needed to know about the area and Yellowstone Park. They were very friendly and helpful. The room was perfect and very clean and comfortable.

We were in a 2 story cabin with the bedrooms on the lower level and the kitchen and living area upstairs. There was a great view on the upper back deck. Really enjoyed it.

Property has a character and charm. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed the day we stayed there, so we had to drive quite a distance to get a meal. For the price charged it was annoying to see a sign stating we would be charged $25 if we failed to wash dishes.

A hidden gem! Casual with very friendly staff and beautiful views. Attached coffee shop and restaurant. Very understanding, called and they were able to accommodate our late arrival. Consideried staying a little longer but they were booked.

The restaurant on property is great, too. Food can take a little while to be served, but the Cowboy sandwich especially is worth the wait! The owner is very friendly and welcoming. It’s a bit of a drive from Yellowstone, but it’s a pretty drive, and the room and food were more than worth it. Highly recommend!

It’s a bit of a drive from Yellowstone, but it’s a pretty drive, and the room and food were more than worth it. Highly recommend!

Room was large (3 beds) with a full kitchen. However, restaurant was closed Sunday and Mondays. This was very inconvenient since nothing else was open this time of year in the area. We would have had to drive back to Cody (over 30 miles) for food.

We loved Wapiti Lodge! We stayed in the Langford Suite and it was perfect - clean, roomy, comfortable, with all the amenities and then some (breakfast basket in the fridge, plenty of coffee and tea). The owners were suberb - friendly, personable, and helpful. The restaurant was also wonderful - we had two great dinners there - delicions food and excellent service. The location is beautiful and we hope to be back at Wapiti lodge again some day.
