Our room at Apple Creek was comfortable, clean and roomy and suited our purposes. Loved having the balcony. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. However, this was an older facility that easily could stand an updating. The tub should be changed out for a walk-in shower.

Last minute trip...pool area was decent, rooms are a bit outdated with a tiny tv. No breakfast and not even coffee in the lobby. Was fine for being last minute but probably won't stay again.

No frills in the room, but it was a nice location and clean. The service was good and they had a pool and hot tub. Simply a place to lay your head at night.

Friendly and accomodating staff. Quiet but convenient spot. Pool and jacuzzi area well maintained. Comfy bed with fluffy pillows! Will definitely stay again!

Lynn was very helpful providing information on the best activities and resturants in the area. We loved our stay!

This was a very expensive room( $175.00) for a very small room with a shower only, no microwave, and no coffee maker. The online price was quoted as $139.00 until we actually selected a room at the Apple Creek resort, then the price changed to $179.00. As irritating, was the offer to add an additional night at a "significant" discount by the night staff. Waited till 9:30 the next morning to speak with a live person only to be told that the price was the same as the previous night. We have stayed here in the past(10 years ago) and had a great experience, but this was (imo) way over priced for a place to sleep, with very few amenities. We ended up a bit further down the door for the same size room with a tub, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker for almost 1/2 Apple Creeks price.

The pool is cold and we were evacuated because of a fire in the dryer for 2 1/2 hours standing in the rain

The person at the front desk was great. He answered our questions. A very pleasant guy. My only issue was the air didnt cool the room very well. And the pillows were flat and hard.

Front staff was professional and helpful. Rooms were of average cleanliness and condition. The walls are a bit thin and you can hear a lot of bumping in other rooms at times. Otherwise a decent stay for the price.

Book this property on Expedia late at night on the road. Was limited rooms to stay for there was a festival going on and another town. Misplaced needs rooms updated they have a small coffee pot in the room. They have nothing for breakfast. And if you want more coffee you have to go somewhere else. They don't serve it in the lobby. For $285 a night you would think they would have coffee in their lobby. I would suggest staying somewhere else I see why they had vacancy!!!😠 Oh and you will not get your money back after you get there even if you have to leave early or on emergency no refunds remember that!!!!!

We last stayed here 10 years ago and remember it being so much nicer. We previously stayed on second floor and were on ground level this time. Room was very small as was the bathroom. Seemed more like a low end hotel you might find in a larger city. Also dont recall last time we stayed somewhere where there was no coffee in the entire place. The positives are nice pool and hot tub, great location, and friendly staff. Overall disappointing given the price we paid.

The owner and weekend checkin gal were so friendly and helped us navigate the county….presenting us with a map and highlighted the “things to be sure to see and do” while there. And we did…it is a very welcoming spot to stay and if and when I return I will for sure book again.

The room was fine for an overnight stay. The room was the size of a small bedroom, including bathroom, and it had a musty smell. I was relieved that they had a multi function plug-in docking station - regular cords, usb cords, etc.

Lynne (owner) was so nice and friendly. Gave us a map of what to do and see in Door County. It was a great few days in door county

Pool and hot tub are nice. Took a while to check in. Answering phone was more important than two customers at counter. Room was clean but small. Was next to an entrance and very noisy til anout 11pm. Dont stay in room 111 due to noise. Was clean and price was good compared to other hotels even though room was just big enough for the bed.

The facility was clean but very outdated. The pool area was nicely kept;the best part of the place. The outside looked neglected and the inside office was very cluttered. The front doors locked at 9:45 pm. I’ve never had that happen anywhere else. The air conditioning unit smelled very musty. Because of my allergy problems, we turned off the unit and opened the windows. I would not recommend to others. It was definitely the “budget” motel in Fish Creek.

It was close to shopping and easy walking to the shore and dining options.

The staff and the hotel were amazing at this place! It is a small, family run business, and they go out of their way to make sure that you are taken care of and treated like part of the family. Shopping is right across the street within walking distance, and parking is very convenient. While you are off of the beaten path from the hectic areas of town, you are still a short distance away from everything! I’ll definitely be back!

The property was about ¾ mile away from the main shopping area in Fish Creek. I liked the quiet area - but it was close enough to walk to the shops. The owner greeted me and personally gave me info about the property and the town. The room was no frills but clean and comfortable.

I’m not sure what’s going on in the hotel industry as I frequently stay at hotels due to work and leisure. But they are severely suffering and lacking the hospitality portion of their industry. I have stayed at Apple Creek resorts 2 separate times for business as we are renovating a house in baileys harbor. It was a place to sleep, the rooms are extremely dated, beds terribly uncomfortable, they have tons of out of the norm “rules” posted everywhere, but with very little inventory available, it was one of the only properties with vacancies (now I know why) and with having my kids one of the trips it had a pool!
Front desk person (who I found out later was the owner) was scattered and unorganized. I soon established she was just having a bad day and tried to look past it. However, after looking at my credit card statement the following month I saw that they had charged me 3 different charges for the same stay. When I tried to call for clarification, as to the charges, I was spoken over, never given the opportunity to clarify the dates and charges or get an explanation before I was rudely snapped at yelled at and then hung up on.
This person owns the hotel, she is rude, crass and unprofessional. You will have a very difficult time getting a hold of anyone before 10am or after 10pm…so watch out if you have a maintenance emergency or need extra towels. She has zero manners and has allowed her personal issues to take priority over her customers service or even basic kindness.
