Top on every level.

This is a five-star hotel in both spirit and heart. Two minor things that don’t affect the overall impression, but still. Why does the fan start at a measured 60 dB when you enter the room, and keep running until you manually turn it off? And why is the pool and spa area closed one late afternoon and evening for cleaning? This should be done during less busy times, such as early morning or night.

I am really torn on how to rate this as I wish I could give two reviews. So I am rating this based on what upset me the most.
First, we booked the room at 300 euros. Less than 12 hours later I saw the same room for 70 less. I messaged them and asked if they could honor the difference or offer something as a discount. They were unconcerned and basically rude.
Second, breakfast was offered at a discount at checkin for 30 euros. But the menu at breakfast had the same deal for 20 euros. I tried explaining this but due to language issues got nowhere. Speaking of which, the breakfast buffet was the worst we've seen in our travels the past two weeks in europe. To pay 30 euros for an omelet and coffee seems somewhat outrageous.
Third, the dinner was the worst we have had in our stay in Europe.
All of this left a bad taste in my mouth. Hence, there is no way I can possibly rate this experience as anything but terrible.
On the other hand, the service was impeccable. Everyone was very friendly and very helpful. I was actually overwhelmed how nice everyone was.
But that does not help the fact that I felt ripped off with the whole situation.

Really beautiful hotel in a great area of town. Rooms were very nice and the hotel was very walkable to all the highlights of the city. The front desk was very helpful through check-in, fulfilling requests, and unfortunately dealing with a very frustrating service at breakfast. Breakfast service was quite disorganized and made for a very poor experience for a 5-star hotel.

The Grand Hotel Vilnius was absolutely wonderful .
Stayed here with my family for a week and every day was better than the next . The great staff , especially Kotryna who made us feel at home from the moment we checked in - what a fabulous person . The Rooms were fantastic as we had a balcony room which was very roomy . Morning breakfast was wonderful and you can not beat the location to enjoy old town . Thank You Hilton Staff and Kotryna for a fabulous stay . We will be back .

I have been a loyal customer for the past 8 years, with over 30 stays, but my recent experience at this hotel has been extremely disappointing. It seems the only thing that remains unchanged (changing owners from Kempinski to a Hilton now) is the steep pricing. Everything else has gone downhill compared to the previous hotel.
1. Cheaper Bedding: The previous hotel used Muhldorfer bedding, which was a major draw for me. The new bedding is noticeably cheaper, and the mattresses are too soft, contributing to an overall poorer experience.
2. Unwelcoming Staff: The staff is now below average and not welcoming at all. This is a stark contrast to the warm hospitality I used to receive.
3. Unpleasant Odor: The hotel now has an unpleasant odor, which is a huge downgrade from the previous hotel’s refreshing and luxurious scent.
4. Deteriorated Lobby: The lobby has transformed from a luxurious space to something completely unremarkable, which detracts from the initial impression of the hotel.
5. Cold Jacuzzi: The jacuzzi water has become colder, seemingly as a cost-saving measure. This diminishes the relaxing experience that guests look forward to.
6. Poor Breakfast: The breakfast was small with a lack of choice, a significant step down from what used to be offered.
Overall, I can no longer recommend this hotel. It no longer provides a proper 5-star experience. Previously a gem, actually one of the top hotels in Vilnius after 8 years of consistent stays, I will not be returning.

The room was perfect but the bathroom not adequate. No proper shower. Going in and out the bathtub was not safe without handles and no step up. No curtain in the tub either. Service and. Cleaning beyond the norm

Location and service are the reasons to stay here. Room was very comfortable. Front desk staff and restaurant service excelled. Housecleaning has room for improvement in an upscale hotel like this. We would definitely stay again.

No 5 star service, no body helps me with luggage, the service response was too slow you need to ask so many times to get what you need.
Also a wired action happed in the breakfast restaurant, fist the waiter refused to provide us a nice table even the restaurant was quite empty in a reason that the restaurant is reserved which we found after that is not true , secondly she ask us to leave before finishing our breakfast in a reason she want to clean the restaurant even there are other people and also its 5 minutes before the closing.
I am un happy and disappointed

Outstanding hotel, staff were superb too.
I really enjoyed my stay. Its the first hotel in 20 years of travelling that I seriously considered extending my stay for a few more days, but alas my schedule would not allow.
