An interesting stay for the RWC23 to watch games in Marseille. It was quiet when we stayed and so the pool was empty and nice. Loungers are good. The apartments were acceptable, with working aircon in the downstairs and both bedrooms. Layout was a double bed and bunkbeds. Sofabed had broken slats and many of the chairs were broken. The entire resort appeared very tired. Suspect it would be very loud and poor value in summer, but for us out of season it was fine. Quiet and no one was around. Went for runs in the woods, which was great. Food at the golf course was excellent, with a wood fired pizza oven and steaks.
Note that they try to charge you €10 pp extra for bedding. Not a massive amount but just feel cheated when it's added on when you arrive. This should be in the advert and Hotels.com should do more to prevent this kind of behaviour - seen similar on VRBO for gites...

We were there for a sporting event at the complex next door, so didn't get to golf or do the activities in the area. However, this residence hotel is clearly great for families that want to cook their own meals and have a "home away from home" in Provence, as opposed to a full-service hotel experience. There is a modest but fine daily breakfast and the staff are competent and friendly, but you do need to plan a grocery store run and to take care of yourself -- no room service, no daily housekeeping, only TP in the bathrooms (no tissue, no paper towels). Walls are thin so not great privacy between rooms. English is spoken by at least one person in the office at all times that I visited it.

We did not really understand that this is more of a time-share-type facility than a hotel. Reception was not 24/7, continental breakfast was only available if you ordered it the day before (and when Reception was open), and there were not really amenities of a hotel. We had a two-room "suite" but because the kids' beds were in the living space, it really amounted to two tiny bedrooms with no where else to sit and very limited counter space. Additionally, it's a bit off the beaten path in Provence - which we just did not realize given it was our first trip there. That said, the people were nice, the pool was fantastic, and the weather was wonderful. I would not choose it again, though, if I were planning a sight-seeing trip to Provence.

I stayed at the Golf Cabre d'Or for a football tournament nearby. The rooms were very clean and fresh, with great self catering facilities.
The hotel facilities leave something to be desired, as there's no shop or bar to buy anything. There's a drinks vending machine for water and pop but that's it.
Good for self catering families but bring provisions with you.

We enjoyed our stay at this "residence". It is not a hotel and therefore do not expect hotel services. You have to pay for the linens and keep the place clean (no one comes in to clean, make beds or take out the garbage while you are there), but, if you, like us, don't mind that, it's a great place, for the price. The 2-floor, 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in was large, clean and quite. It was a bit basic, in that there was not a lot of ambiance and a few more pictures on the white walls would have been appreciated, but we didn't spend much time in the place and these things really didn't matter to us. The one negative is that there were a lot of pigeons around the place and I would have appreciated it, if the walkways were sweapt and cleaned. I didn't appreciate dodging pigeon droppings or driving my stroller through it.
