The staff was very nice, the hotel room was clean, and it was a big bonus they had a balcony that overlooked the pool (which was great too). An overall great stay for a weekend trip.

I stayed here twice. The first time was a much better experience which is why I booked again for the following weekend. The second time, my room smelled like a locker room, had ants all around the TV - fridge area, the shower had quite a few long hairs on the walls and tub. In addition, there was a herd of elephants staying above me. They could use a dehumidifier as well - my clothes felt damp just after 1 night. Staff was fine but not very accommodating.

The property was within walking distance to the downtown shopping and a block up from the carnival. You can get rooms that overlook the bayside perfect for sunset. The rooms were nice and the staff were friendly.

Very nice hotel. Needed to stay one night since we decided to arrive early to the island. They give you a credit for the cafe for breakfast but it was only cereals, fruits and microwaveable sandwiches. We had expected something a little more than that. Otherwise nice place to stay!

Stayed here two years ago, enjoyed it so decided to stay here again. What a difference- the rudest manager my husband & I ever encountered and woman at check in was not accommodating at all. When I booked it stated that there was a complimentary hot breakfast (one of our reasons for staying with 4 grandchildren.) Informed upon arrival we were told that was no longer available for the last two weeks. We asked for a room reduction and was rudely told that wasn’t going to happen! Even though and I checked, it STILL states on their website that there is a complimentary breakfast. I was given adaily $15 credit slip to use in the cafe and it still cost me an EXTRA $40 for a breakfast of cereal, rice crispy treats, juice, milk & a coffee. The prices in the cafe were so overpriced- nothing about this is complimentary! The only nice part of our stay was the woman who worked in the cafe on 8/15.
On the third day of our stay we were told our room would be serviced. When we arrived back at the room after 5 the only thing we received was fresh towels. I had to ask the service lady in the hallway why she hadn’t even emptied the trash and asked why they hadn’t cleaned as there was still sand in the shower!! Ohh was the response. And why do they not know how many people are in a room to give the corresponding number of towels?? And how about putting more hooks/racks in a bathroom at a beach motel for towels, beach towels and bathing suits??

bill was $43! Totally outrageous!

I will say that when we booked on Expedia it said complimentary breakfast (we only book hotels with complimentary breakfast). When we checked in, we were told that Expedia was wrong and there was NO complimentary breakfast. They explained to us that Expedia was wrong and they had to call them multiple times to fix it. The hotel was lovely! Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Minor complaints about the room: we were out of body wash in the wall mounted dispensers, our sink drain plug was stuck, and the sink leaked a bit. Overall, a great stay, and we would gladly return, if we ever return to the area!

Hotel lobby and front look great … rooms however are outdated and carpet is worn and dirty. Our rooms faced the marina however the view was misleading in pictures… Coast Guard base next door with large tower was in our line of sight. Staff was accommodating and had it not been for them we would have left. Apparently , housekeeping was issue and rooms were not ready, it was around 6pm! Nothing in morning , vice coffee … had to pay for any breakfast items , cashier right in area where limited breakfast items were located. For the price of room and the amenities … way not worth it. Very disappointed.

But they really took their time coming to the room to trouble shoot the problem and said no other rooms were available even though i said i could book one on expedia right in front of them for that night (upgraded room so probably didn't want to give it to me for no added cost). Only after bothering the front desk two more times after the complaint was made they came at 930pm when my three young kids were trying to go to bed. Not sure they would have remembered to come at all otherwise or were they planning on knocking on my door at midnight? I usually don't leave reviews but i felt like my time and business weren't respected or appreciated. The man that came to my room literally got off his laptop to look at the a/c. He just had to unplug the unit a couple times and re sync with the thermostat but i had to sit in a 78deg room for almost an hour and a half wondering if it was ever going to get resolved and my kids wanted to go to bed.
If they handled that situation a little better, i wouldn't have bothered to mention the black mold on the ceiling in this review.

We had an overnight stay on a return trip from vacation. The hotel itself is nice the room we stayed in was a larger room with a sofa area. Beds were comfortable, carpet was a little dated and our shower did not have any shampoo or soap upon arrival. The view from the hotel of the Marina area is beautiful during the day at night you will not see anything it’s quite dark. There’s a pool area which wa not busy during the morning of our stay however it is shared with the property next to the hotel. Breakfast was probably the worst we’ve had for a hotel breakfast as it was empty by 9am and the food was just reheated frozen items. Kids enjoyed the muffins as well as the waffles. Overall this location is nice but needs so improvements in service.
