Good place to stay, priced on the higher side, not sure it is worth the rate, however, enjoyable.

We didnt enjoy the non black out curtains as we saw the sensor street light going on and off even 10 seconds maybe something setting the sensor off.
The room was quirky, warm and really cool. It was a beautiful and amazing building. Single glazed windows were chilly and noisey though. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the outside of the building was getting a paint job and looked fresh.

The location is good, being in the centre of the town and within walking distance of most things. However, the garden suites are very expensive —over $800 for two nights!! We had a suite with another room on top, which was very noisy. The people upstairs banged and crashed around both nights, and there is a very thin roof between the two rooms. Avoid being in these rooms under the upstairs.

A lovely little hotel in an old fashioned style. The rooms were spacious with their own balcony facing the garden.

Lovely room and beautiful old building but a sloping floor is not great. A nice stay otherwise.

If your room is in the main part of the hotel there is no air conditioning, the bar across the road is noisy and the hotel next door is also noisy if there is a function on. The restaurant food is bland and overpriced, the waiters are super nice but the restaurant manager is grumpy and doesn’t acknowledge you.

Beautiful rooms, well appointed, spotlessly vlean and a fantastic location but thecesr plugs ard there for a reason. Its a lovely old building with lots of original features including a lag of sound-proofing of double glazing. But the place has so many pros, this minor con doesn't stop me recommending it.

We were disappointed to find a tiled floor in the shower with no mat that we could fin to prevent slipping. The noise from the next unit was loud as the showers were used after 10 pm . The electric blankets were not efficient and took a long time to heat up. The toilet cistern did not close off .
