Staying on this island was amazing. The view was incredible and plenty of blankets to keep you warm. They even gave us warm water bottles to put in the bed at night to keep us warm.

Sadly very over priced and a disappointing experience.
Cons:
The rooms are low quality construction. Bathroom doors are plywood with no handles. Little to no insulation and no heating for very cold nights. Door ways are low and bedding whilst clean is cheap and very heavy.
Our evening meal was inedible. Over cooked dry chicken breast, vegetables that were so over cooked they were falling apart and chips that just tasted of oil.
We had asked for a tour of the surrounding Islands and had to chase it up. The tour ended up being in a really small covered boat that stuck of petrol fumes. Our "guide" was lovely but spoke no English so we learned nothing about the Islands.
Pros
Stunning views from your balcony and bed.
Staff were friendly but clearly not experienced in hospitality.
Breakfast was simple but very nice.
All in all had I paid 20 USD I probably wouldn't have been that upset. But at 50USD a night I expect better. 75 Soles for a tour with a guide who can't communicate with you isn't good enough and that evening meal was completely unacceptable. These guys are clearly fairly new and starting out. However realistically there are far better options nearby.
