Owner, Kathy, was extremely pleasant and helpful. The building is older, but comfortable. Very nice stay. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay! Very helpful at check in- telling us all the shots we needed to hit, as well as the areas to avoid. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Unfortunately we couldn't stay out 2nd night because of a storm that knocked out power and my medical needs, but we WILL be back!

Older property. Lovely spot, a hidden GEM!
Quiet, enjoyed the waterfront view. Used the brick pit to cook some steaks and veggies over wood fire, an awesome experience.
The Owners are great people!

My room felt like home as opposed to an actual hotel. It was very clean and relaxing, and the view of the river along with benches and a fire pit, and places to grill food gave it a nice camping vibe. I'll definitely be back.

Wonderful overnight stay. Customer service was excellent. This is a 1930's Motel and is open seasonal. It just reopened for the season a couple weeks ago. Our room (116) was very clean. The building is original and is brick and concrete, which made it very quiet and cozy. The owners are doing their best to keep it as original as possible. Although the room is smaller than your chain motels, it is arranged perfectly. I loved the furnishings and the bed was extremely comfortable. There was great cable tv. The bathroom was small, as were most bathrooms in 1930's, but it was clean and well appointed. We are not sure about wifi as we did not need it. We had great service with our Tmobile so wifi was not needed for our stay. Honestly we didn't even ask 😀. There was a nice little table and chairs outside our room. I absolutely loved the antique desk/pull out table in our room. This motel is on the Niagara River and only about a 12-15 drive to Niagara falls. Guests have access to the river, Bbq grills, etc. The owners have a beautiful home on the property and guests have full acres to their "backyard". It was literally like being a guest at a friend's house, with your own private guest room! We loved it. The location was great, We had breakfast just down the street at a local diner. Our room did have a fridge and microwave. We did not use the pool but it looked good and it looked like the owners are renovating the "pool house/recreation" building. Overall we highly recommend.

Owners were amazing and room was clean and fresh. Will definitely stay again!

The room is very outdated. The bathroom was not clean. There was no TP! The staff was friendly enough until they want you out, of course, without even asking us how the stay was or even a pleasant goodbye. You have to ask for EVERYTHING! They need to post the WiFi password and instructions. Walls are thin as paper. I dont mind music or talking, but banging and slamming is jarring. The price gouging was crazy! Not even close to being worth $170 a night! I would only come back if it was wayyy cheaper.

Have stayed here before. Is a charming 1930's style motel with the basics.; clean and comfortable. Wonderful lake front for fishing or relaxing. Huge fire pit. Covered picnic table and grill. The owner is very helpful with anything you need.

The outside appearance had us wanting to leave immediately. HOWEVER we decided to go eat while they got the heating to work and a blanket. 4 restaurants before we found a clean one so the motel looked better then the district. On return they had the room warm a brand new blanket so we had a very conformable night. As promised free coffee in the " lobby" . It has plenty of surroundings that would make a great stay if cleaned and maintained. Still over priced but they did as promised

I enjoyed the older motel vibe here. The owner, Kathy was lovely, sending me a message prior to my arrival and providing great info once I arrived. The king size bed was very comfortable and it was nice and quiet. It is right on the river and close to the falls, you can see the mist from the falls bt the river side. There is a pool, but I did not use it during my short 2 day stay. While food is not offered, there is a fridge and microwave and ice available. If I had to be critcal, to me, the only downside was the tv did not offer many channels and the outlets need replaced as they were loose. But overall, I enjoyed my stay and will be back!

So the lady who checked us in was super kind, helpful and overall a good spirit. The motel itself is old fashion however the pool was cleaned and they were close to the water so you were able to sit outside by the water and enjoy the view, walk and everything. Everything was close by they also had a park not to far down. The pizza was great as well highly recommended.

Kathy was super nice, check in was quick with a lot of information on the area. Room was small, clean, bed was comfortable. We didn't have hot water the 1st night but that was sort of rectified, we had to let it run for about 5 or 6 minutes everytime you had to shower. The view of the river was nice. Facilities could use a good cleaning on the outside and the rooms need to be updates. Pictures online are not accurate.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The lady at the front desk was very nice and welcoming. She was knowledgeable about the area and gave great recommendations of places to go and stay away from. The room was clean and cute. The only complaint would be there’s no coffee but since I’m not much of a coffee drinker that didn’t bother me. I really enjoyed sitting by the river and watching the sunset. You’re close enough to see the mist cloud from the falls but far enough that it wasn’t noisy or crowded. I would definitely stay there again. I highly recommend breakfast at Nelsons Cafe. The food was delicious and filling.

I have very mixed feelings about this motel.
POSITIVE:
1. The hosts were very friendly and helpful in terms of providing information on local attractions and safety in the area. Check in and check out were easy.
2. The room and linens were clean.
3. Mattresses were firm (which is my personal preference).
4. There is a clean an deep pool (kids' favorite place) that was open from dawn to dusk.
5. Motel property is right on the Niagara river with beautiful view, you can lounge and sunbathe right on the bank.
6. Location is great, just under 15 min to Niagara Falls.
NEGATIVE:
1. The smell of bleach in the room was overwhelming.
2. Things in the room were very shabby: lamps were falling over, the door knob was falling apart (you could keep twisting that lock and not know if you really locked it), there was rust in the bathtub, some floor and bath tiles were chipped.
3. There were bugs (NOT bed bugs, just regular bugs and spiders).
4. Some windows could not be opened to air the room.
5. Furniture on the patio was dirty.
Bottom line: if you don't really mind the things that I didn't like, you will find it a good value for your money.

The Motel is very humble, remember it’s a motel basically to visit the falls. The place needslittle more love. The pool is very clean and I saw a priviate company cleaning while I was there. Rooms are cleans. The have some age, but the that the area “style up north. Remember Motel. I think above average.

This is a cute older motel that is close the the falls. The owner was very friendly and helpful with information about dining options and falls-related activities. It is an affordable place to stay on the New York side of the falls. The beds were comfortable. The room is small but fine if you are spending the day doing Niagara Falls activities.

Cute and comfortable. A quaint old fashion motel in a great area. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.
