Just a basic, no frills room. No view, but, decent enough for a stay while you tour Dodge City. Staff is friendly, area is clean. Great cafe (Miss Kitty's) sitting across the parking lot. Only issue we had was a couple next door decided to have a full throated argument on the first night there. After a few minutes of that, it was fine the rest of our stay.

A comfortable stay. It appears that they're upgrading the facility-nice bed, but worn furniture. Nicely painted and decorated but the tub was stained. New toilet. I found it comfortable. And having Miss Kittie's in the parking lot for a REALLY big breakfast is a nice addition. You've gotta drive a mile back into town for a decent coffee, though. And the area outside smells of petrochemicals quite strongly, not indoors though. SUPER convenient if you're on 56 and headed through town.

I opted to stay here because of the price and relatively high rating. I'm a bit shocked at how highly this place is rated. It is definitely sub 2-star accommodations.
For the price, it's definitely ok, especially if you're here as a single man on work or something. But not a good place for a family stay or if you're looking to be comfortable. Treat this place as just a place to sleep.
Thankfully, I was called by the desk to "confirm my reservation" and my room wasn't given away. However, at checkin another guest with a reservation was lied to and told "they didn't have their reservation" but when the guest pulled out proof on their phone eventually the staff "found the reservation" but said "tough luck I have no room for you".
That guest was fed up enough to not fight with the owner about finding him another room elsewhere etc, but this was a dirty way to handle over-booking.
Most of the linens were stained. They seemed clean / washed, but stained on both of the beds. There were other really minor things not functioning properly, like the drain plug was stuck down (I was able to fix it but had to mess with it from underneath, just not what you expect from a "clean" room you check into).

There were bed bugs on the beds. The sheets were very worn, due to not being changed. Hairs in the shower. Towels were very thin. Small refrigerator leaked on the floor, tried to collect water using a hand towel, but there was a large puddle in the morning.

Very old motel that was packed full of construction type workers and laborers. Rooms were clean and very small. Heavy cow manure smell outside. It was cheap.

I love a smoke free room where people smoke in front of your AC unit. I also like it when management and/or the owners knock on your door at 9 and ask if you are going to check out when check out is at 11. That was fantastic when you have been driving for a few days!! Thank you for a truly awful experience!! I really appreciated and needed that

It's great motel for people who are minding their own business and just want to sleep. I was able to sleep all day after a long trip. And wasn't disturbed buy any noise outside.
There is an rv park behind the motel, but it's mostly full of residents. It was very dark at night, not very well lit outside the immediate parking lot. There is a restaurant and lounge next door.
The staff was friendly, even though not always available, because they are working on renovating the facility or something. The pool was closed.
