Great apartement, huge and spacious. Fantastic area, cafees and restaurants just outside. Recomended. Good communication with the happydays appartments, and pluss for them having a 24/7 reception just some streets down.

Our original accommodation was unavailable due to a water leak but we got no notice from the hotel, who had to scramble to get us accommodation in the main hotel for 1 night and then in an alternative apartment for 2 nights. It broke our stay and was very inconvenient. Unfortunately the noise levels in both alternate places was appalling. Loud music from the local, pubs blaring until 3am in the morning. No idea why Liverpool City allows this.

Overall a really nice property. Very spacious and it was very clean. Location is great. Lacks a bit of coziness with the excess of white walls and lack of natural light.
Room for improvement - the sofa bed in the living room only comfortably seats 3 people- we were a party of 5 so two were sitting on dining chairs. It’s also not suitable as a bed for 2 people. It’s very uncomfortable as a sofa bed with the line down the middle and not very stable. My 7 and 13 year old struggled on it so adults certainly would. A large corner sofa with opened into a solid double bed would be much better.
The bedding in general was poor quality in particular the thin sheets and absolutely awful pillows. One pillow each that was far too thin and small for the cases!!
Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Apartment was well equipped with kitchen needs and good bathrooms. Super central location.

While it is listed as luxury, far from it, there for just under 2 wks, 7 coat hangers for 2 bedrooms, had to email to get a broom, trash bags, but they were quick. Again Happy Days does not know how to stock a kitchen, no serving spoons, spatula, bottle, can or wine opener, or mixing bowls or spoons. Nice selection of knives and glasses. A large frying pan, grater, double boiler, no lid and a small cover sauce pan, and measuring cup. Sofa was in an awkward position so only on person could sit to watch tv and we had to use the single duvet to cover the wood braces that were coming through. Location was everything, easy train access, shopping and close to Liverpool One.

The property was well located to dining, pubs and the waterfront yet was tucked away from the crowds. A lovely coffee house was next door. The apartment was clean and spacious with a full kitchen. Unfortunately, the lift failed and trapped some guests early one morning. The fire alarm was triggered and the guests eventually released. However, the alarm continued intermittently over the weekend making sleeping difficult. The owner/manager did not explain to patrons what was going on with the alarm so people were unsure of their safety and he was dismissive when approached. The outside lights shone into the bedrooms and the blinds were inadequate to block the light making sleep difficult. The Netflix did not work nor was there sufficient toilet paper.

The property is in deplorable condition with filthy carpets, holes in the kitchen wall, smelled like cat urine, visible animal droppings and dirt on the hall floor. It was so terrible we refused to stay even one night.

Did not receive any check-in information from hotels.com but after we called a number listed on a sign outside we could pick-up a code at a nearby hotel without any problems. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Pros:Very clean and spacious. Fantastic location with restaurants steps away and very short walk to many of the most interesting sights.
Cons: Lift was not working when we arrived and still wasn't working when we left 5 days later, which was inconvenient since we were travelling with 3 kids, thereof 2 using strollers, and the apartment was on the 2nd floor.
The rooms were extremely bright, the curtains did not fit the windows and there were lights right outside the windows that lit up the rooms, so it wasn't even dark after sunset.
For a stay with young kids the apartment needs to be baby-proofed (the dining table is for example a glass table with sharp corners and there are sharp corners on heaters). It would be helpful to add smaller dishes and glasses, and baby cribs and high chairs. And to have a lift that can be used.
However, we would probably stay again if not travelling with kids. The location was certainly fantastic and everything was clean.

I stayed for a short break during the week to discover some of the highlights of Liverpool.
16 Queen Avenue is a great location. There are lots of bars, restaurants and shops nearby, and the Albert Docks and Liverpool One are just a ten minute walk away.
The apartment was clean and spacious and we felt safe and secure.

The apartments are ideally placed tucked away in a courtyard but minutes from everywhere . The apartments had everything you would need , the only negative was we could work the heating and couldn’t find any instructions and with such high ceilings it was cold.

We were relocated to Lord Street. Only found out the day before. Tried to deny included parking. Still have to reclaim the almost £40.
Apartment was good, location very good. No extraction in the bathroom on the hottest day of the year made it almost unbearable. Having said all that, good value for money, well appointed, quiet given city centre location and will definitely use again.

Great location, clean tidy apartment, comfy beds, good facilities. Communication before and after was poor: had to request check in details several times, i phoned them twoce and theyd phoned me once and i still wasn't sent check in directions until i was 1 hr away and had requested them for 4th time. At this point i was then told about the deposit for the 1st time (in 3rd conversation with apartment management) and had to stop my car to pay it online so i could get the directions. Directions then were good and apartment great location. Says free parking with apartment but you have to pay for parking in a regular nearby car park then claim it back. But when i was there the machine wouldn't give a receipt so i couldn't claim it back. Took long time and lots of nagging messages to get my deposit back. But I did get it back in full eventually. I'd like to stay in this apartment again, I'd recommend the actual apartments. But I'm not sure I would book again because of the disorganised (though admitedly very friendly) management.
