Really lovely hotel, we stay here often. The staff are excellent, so friendly and helpful. Food is delicious too

Our room was of adequate size. The ceiling was low but a large window gave plenty of light. It was a pleasantly warm weekend so we could keep the window open all night. We could hear some chatting from the neighbouring restaurant but it was completely quiet by late evening.
The bathroom was fine though the low ceiling meant the show head over the bath was too low and first time in I hit my head on it!
There was no frig, minibar or safe in our room.
Parking was easy but it was important to remember to enter the registration number on reception’s keypad to avoid a fine from the carpark management company. Reception staff were helpful in this respect.
Breakfast was a mixed experience though overall pretty good. The L-shaped restaurant itself was one of the most pleasant I’ve experienced with comfortable seating, well spaced tables, and large windows. Staff attention was faultless. In terms of food selection it was a little more disappointing with a combination of limited cold buffet and short menu of hot dishes available as table service. Although our choices were fresh, hot and served promptly, I would still have preferred to have made my own choices from a hot buffet. Awkwardly, reception asked us to book a specific time for breakfast. This doesn’t work for us on holiday. Spontaneously we might choose to lie in or, alternatively go for an early morning walk. Reception explained their reasons; apparently kitchen capacity is limited and pre-booking spreads the demand.

Beautiful hotel with fantastic staff. Food was absolutely delicious we eat in the resturant and had lamb it was so nice. Swimming pool was lovely and warm. Nice little break away. The ebst part of this hotel was definitely the staff they literally couldn't do enough for you. Thank you for making our anniversary so special.

Excellent staff. Very helpful. Especially Alex the night porter who was lovely and very thoughtful
Rooms were great. I thought reception area and the bar area looked very dated and needed refurbishment. Restaurant and food was great.

Hotel is slightly older but well kept up. Staff was very friendly. It’s located in a GORGEOUS bay with a nice restaurant and bar in walking distance on the beach. Very convenient for the ferry ports too. Recommend for short stay.

Everything was exceptional. However, there was not hot water in our room and could not take a morning shower.

The hotel is right across from the bay with both a sandy beach and rocky headland. The staff are efficient and extremely helpful, the rooms in the cottage compact, but with everything one needs as well as still and sparkling water, biscuits, and ground coffee for the caffetier which is also provided.

Great staff. Could not be more helpful. Very comfortable beds. Easy drive to the ferry terminal. The damp on the walls in the bedroom needs some attention, but given the exposed and very pretty location, keeping the building maintained is a challenge.

Excellent stay with very friendly staff especially Vicki on reception and David the restaurant manager who both put themselves out to make us extra welcome as did all the staff but they stood out. Will definitely return on a regular basis as we love Trearddur bay and this hotel is perfect for anyone’s stay.
Thank you very much .

Receptionists very professional but also very friendly and welcoming. Superb breakfast - staff again excellent. Very pleased with our room in the Tower Suite and are already planning a return visit.

The food was good especially the Sunday roast which we enjoyed with family who were camping. Disappointed with size of the room for the price. The shower was very difficult to use as the shower door seemed to be fixed the wrong way. Hard to access the taps to get hot water before stepping in

We have stayed here before (a few months ago) and were happy with the clearly renovated room we were given then with the garden/sea view. This time we were put in a room that needs updating desperately and overlooking the bin store! Added to the poor quality room we were kept awake by a dog barking from inside a nearby room for a length of time. The corridor carpet outside the bedroom was a mess and some of the upholstery in the restaurant was ripped and stained very badly. We paid £179.00 for the night which was way too much. At £60 I could have accepted the faults but at this price it is way overpriced and needs improvements ASAP. If you do choose to book here then make sure it is in the newly renovated part as the rest is 1 star.

Hotel looked very clean, but our hallway and room smelled a bit musty. The service was outstanding. The food was excellent. If you have a problem with steps, this hotel with its maze of steps and no elevator may not be a good choice for you.

The room was mouldy and dirty - when we first entered there were still used towels on the floor and an unflushed toilet - it was horrible.
It is in need of a refurb and doesn’t deserve a 9 star rating. I wish I had have read the reviews before booking. Meals in the restaurant were less than impressive. Definitely not worth the money paid.

All told, had a lovely short break at Trearddur Bay, the location is stunning, facilities are plentiful if a little tired in places. Breakfast service was very slow and the buffet regularly ran out of certain things which were not topped up as regularly as they should.
