About this house rental
A peaceful retreat in the heart of Uptown Kingston. Filled with art, light, and little details to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A back deck overlooks gardens and trees, perfect for a morning coffee or tea.
Location
An easy stroll to some great coffee, restaurants, and shops. On your way you'll pass some of the historic landmarks and architecture in Kingston.
We're a 9 minute walk to the Trailways bus terminal, which is the easiest way to get here from NYC and takes about 2hrs.
If you're coming by car there is free alternate side street parking on the block. With other street parking and municipal lots close by.
The Space
Downstairs is a large open living area, with projector and Roku TV for movie nights. There is also a reading area, with plenty of books and magazines.
The dining room can seat up to 6 guests. It also features a record player for if you happen to visit one of the great record shops in uptown (and bluetooth if you don't).
The kitchen has a gas stove, refrigerator, three different options for brewing coffee, and a selection of teas.
Each bedroom has a queen bed and a closet for clothes.
The bathroom has a shower/bath tub combo with Dr Bronner's soap, and shampoo & conditioner from Verb.
Two bedrooms and the downstairs living area have mini-split heating/cooling units, and the rest of the house has forced air heating with a smart thermostat.
Guest Access
Guests will be given an entry code for the smart lock to enter the house.
You are very welcome to use the back deck, but the upstairs front balcony and garden are not for guest use.

If you're interested in staying near the Stockade District, but also value a little solitude, this spot is perfect. We had a lovely weekend and look forward to staying here again.
