updated, clean, cozy, delicious food

Wallsee is a lovely little town on a hill above the Danube. Nothing to criticise about the hotel - clean accommodation, helpful staff, excellent food in the restaurant. Good breakfast, each table had its own "buffet". We were very pleasantly surprised.
The interior of rooms would benefit from natural materials instead of laminate. But it's a matter of taste, and I'm sure most guests will be happy with it.

Good place near a highway. The food in the restaurant was good but not so cheaper. Personal was so warming to us.
We arrived in time but got the key from a room just after 1 hour because all personnel were in church and we could not call to them

It has a warm, smart feel when you arrive and the room was bright and welcoming.
there are a lot of mosquitoes there. we were awake all night battling them and judging by the blood stains on the walls we weren’t the first to find them a problem. a real shame. hopefully something they can resolve with some mesh/nets or deterrents. Great to be able to eat there on a Sunday but the restaurant needs some better lighting/atmos and food was a bit pricey for what it was

Lovely room in a lovely gasthof in a lovely village in a lovely location with great food- both dinner and breakfast

The place is beautiful and clean. The surroundings are stunning. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and fresh. They have home made marmellade.
In the room too many mosquitoes. For the rest no complaints.

The room was clean, well equipped, the staff fantastic, very kind and helpful. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious. Everything went fine.
4.3
Hotel was centrally positioned. It was clean and well run and offered a superb evening meal.
4.3
Breakfast is good, staff is really friendly and helpful.
The cleaning process is really questionable, the bin was not emptied before us and also there were empty medicine plastic waste on our bed tables. If the really seeable dirt was left there, what else? There was a wedding at the place so it was a bit loud so we had to close the windows to be able to sleep.

superb dinner!

Good service, and good food... Local folks come to the Guesthouse for breakfast... And other meals.
Local people had trouble giving me directions on how best to leave town, but that was because "Ich sprecht keine Deutsch.".

lovely people and great stay. Nothing too much trouble
carpets in room stained

Very nice property and we had a wonderful meal in their restaurant. The waitress was great the the chef amazing.
My wife had a housekeeper try to talk with her quite loudly but the language barrier made this hard, and followed her out of the hotel still talking loudly, could have been handled better but the hotel owner was apologetic for the misunderstanding.

We were on a tandem which meant a really significant climb to reach this lovely hotel. However, the hotel is lovely with helpful and friendly staff.
Just that near vertical climb after a tough days cycle.
4.3
There is very good restaurant on the spot
The room a bit small and there, without air conditioning- there were plenty of mosquitoes at night, so we did not sleep well
4.3
Food and hospitality outstanding. Highlight of our trip
