Convenient for the village.
Shower door handle broken: scraped my fingers trying to open the door!

Really nice and large apartment, with a really nice location, lovely pool and garden (with wallabies and numerous birds). The complementary buggy was a plus! However.. There were BIG holes in the fly screens (that we actually read about in a review where they got a huntsman spider inside. And it was still not fixed when we arrived. Bring duct tape) The WiFi only worked for a few hours and when we told management they only sent a mail with the password, so not the problem. It was never fixed, so we had limited 3-4G reception and no streaming. Thus except for the total lack of communication and fixing the issues our stay was great!

Let’s start with the upsides: the property itself isn’t too bad, if a little run down; the massive spa bath is amazing; it comes with its own golf cart (which is essential on the island); wildlife runs around the property; and the bed was pretty comfortable; it has aircon and a smart tv.
The downsides: it is a bit run down; there’s no thought for the little things - no tea, milk, sugar, hand soap, salt, paper towels; they provided two rolls of toilet paper for a week. While the Hamilton island tour desk people were lovely, they don’t control the cleaners/valet (The immaculate team)- who choose when you check out without consulting you and won’t answer phone or text when you try to get hold of them. We wanted a late check out but they showed up early and asked us to leave, then just left us without a transfer to the airport.
Another, fairly minor, annoyance was the groundskeepers started with leaf blowers and hedge trimmers before 8am every morning, worked loudly for an hour and then appeared to knock off for the day. There was trash around our property and the pool had leaves in it.

Loved the birdlife and the landscaping. Felt property maintenance could be better however – screens needed replacing, kitchen cupboard door was off its changes, screens needed cleaning. Despite being winter no extra blankets were supplied

The unit it self was in a decent condition, some repairs were going on (roof patched up but not painted), the mattresses were disgusting old & painful.
I booked this unit for my project manager to stay during a work junket and he slept on cushions on the floor for 2 nights then booked an early flight home after the property manager said they could not do anything (reviews complaining about the mattresses dated back to 2018

The complex was very nice. Quiet and leafy environment.
Our unit needed a few repairs. Broken bin, cupboard door and screens. The cockatoos are the culprits with the screens. They will attempt to get into apartment any way possible. Otherwise a nice place to holiday.

Rental of buggy was included in the price, and the hotel was very good because we can go anywhere using buggy from the hotel.
