What a wonderful hotel. The staff from the moment my wife & I checked in, were amazing. Very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel is high end. We were upgraded to a larger room. Beautiful room, comfortable bed, desk, full kitchen as well. The hotel is across from the T stop (rail line). They have valet parking for $50 which I thought was very reasonable. We had breakfast in the restaurant which was perfect. I booked a room as well for my daughter & son in law. They feel same as I do. I highly recommend the Iris hotel for a great stay in Boston.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed with. This is a boutique one, brand new. I like everything with the room. Highly recommend!

This is a brand new hotel and I believe it will soon become known as a luxury destination. Our room was spacious and bright and beautiful. The bedding was luxurious and reminded me of the Ritz. Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. We had a full refrigerator, freezer and sink in our bedroom (we upgraded the room type we had so I’m not sure that’s standard). Our room also had a Vertuo Nespresso machine. My only complaint is there are motion sensitive lights at the bottom of the bed, presumably to light your way if you get up in the middle of the night, but I found them to be too sensitive. Like if I rolled over and the comforter adjusted as a result, the light would detect the motion and come on. We covered the lights with our towels and that fixed the problem. Other reviewers seemed to love the lights so I think it’s up to the individual person! We got room service one day for breakfast but we saw there was a Trader Joe’s a block away and picked up food for the following mornings.

It was a nice modern hotel perfectly located. The staff was very pleasant and helpful with requests & questions.

Nice room but too much floor lighting in the room

Finding one hotel room for our family of 5 is challenging. It was exceptionally difficult in Boston. The Iris had rooms that sleep 6, at a very reasonable price. So we booked it and I am so glad we did!
It was an easy 20 minute uber from the airport. With a T stop a block away, we easily took the T into the city center for a day of exploring. We rode it back at night. So easy!
Walking into the lobby, this hotel was beautiful. A clean modern aesthetic in a calming purple-blue-grey color scheme. Velvet fabrics, thoughtful lighting, and interesting artwork were consistent and nicely curated.
The room was impressive with great care given to lighting, fixtures, and plush carpet. The beds were clean and we all commented on how well we slept.
Motion lights under the bed flooded the space around the beds in warm golden light. The same was true for the wardrobe, which illuminated when doors opened.
One thing I really want to mention is how clean the room was. It was seriously spotless. Everything seemed brand new. The Nespresso machine, like new. The near full-sized fridge and separate freezer, new. The bathroom, flawlessly clean.
The one thing missing, which is highly prized when traveling with 5 people and vacation food -a fan in the bathroom. My only critique.
Don’t let this deter you. We will absolutely stay at The Iris again. It was luxury at a great price in a lovely area (one block from Trader Joes). No need to rent a car! Just enjoy the city and sleep very, very well!

Iris Hotel was conveniently located, and a lovely little oasis. Plus robes, slippers, lovely bathroom and room. My only suggestion would be that they upgrade the curtains for better blackout properties, the room was rather light in the morning even with both layers of curtains closed.

Lovely and chic hotel, great in room amenities such as microwave and large fridge and freezer in deluxe king room, although they did not have dishes in the mini kitchen. Has small conference room. Walking distance to many stores and restaurants, and very safe area.

I really enjoyed my stay; the rooms were large and well-appointed, and the staff was kind and thoughtful. Beautifully decorated and not too difficult to travel to.

New hotel, so much to like. Only open for 6 weeks. I am not sure the room I had had been used previously.
The room was very comfortable, well appointed and the bed linen was excellent. The room was hard to fault at all.
A couple of simple teething issues were apparent, no umbrella’s (torrential rain for two days while there) was limiting, and the hotel restaurant needs some thought as there are virtually no eateries that are walkable apart from bars

The hotel was very nice, but the staff seemed very confused about how to check people in or out. They also had all the keys from valet service piled in a box. I had to help them look for it.
