I absolutely loved staying at Villa Thea.
Shout out to the receptionist/manager, Mei. She is so sweet and cool, very down to earth and gave us suggestions of good beaches and restaurants to go ( the real good ones)
I booked the wrong room for 3 people by mistake (its was a beautiful romantic room for a couple with a pool right outside of the room) but Mei upgraded us to an suite with two bedrooms and kitchen, it complicated changed our staying experience, it was so great!
The property itself is very nice too, friendly staff and its close to the city center, 5 mins driving. You must rent a car in Mykonos, and the hotel will help you with rental car company with a fare price.
I highly recommend this property and I would come back to Villa Thea when if I ever come back to Mykonos.

This property feels old and uncared for. They are not selling what they offer. The villas are stuffy and the rooms have NO airconditioning. the towels are old and stained. its a no service villa once the reception closes in the afternoon there is no one to reach out unless you whatapp the person incharge. I would not recommend booking at all.

When I reserved I expected a private pool, as stated in the description. But instead it was a privately shared pool with another villa. We were offered an “upgrade”, we took the offer because he said it’s a private room and jacuzzi. But once we got to the room it had no view, cold jacuzzi and the room was super tiny and dark. We immediately requested our old room back. One thing I realized is that this place is not like most hotels. You have to message the, what I presume to be the property manager, via WhatsApp. There are no phones in the rooms. He says yes for everything but doesn’t come through all the time. I needed a converter for my American plugs and he stated he would get me one and never did. And yes, I did follow up several times. Also, the wall AC was horrible and we always felt hot. And we got the dirtiest beach towels!!! My boyfriend and I didn’t even used them. Thank God the beach where we went provided them. Also, they state that they do cleaning services to the rooms twice a day and towels are changed but that didn’t happen. Only occurred on the first day. Oh, and don’t get me started on transportation. He “hooked us up” with the most expensive taxi driver. 35 euros every time, no matter the distance. Don’t get me wrong, it is hard to find a taxi but we did at one point and it was soooo much cheaper. Only 10 euros for a small drive in which the other driver charged 35 euros.

Beautiful hotel. Beautiful view of the Aegean see. Felt like the hotel room and grounds were out of Architectural Digest magazine for a Greek romantic hotel.
Loved Marta at the front desk and Yanis/John the chef. Wonderful people. So nice and helpful. Super clean room. The only odd thing? The bathroom had no door. Just a wooden barn door screen. No privacy. Shower in the room was completely open, too.(Maybe it's a Mykonos-thing? Someone else we met who stayed at another hotel on the island said that they also had a screen for a door in their bathroom)

We stayed for 6 nights in the 2 bedroom apartment (Iro). The apartment was very spacious and well equipped, easily big enough for us (4 adults) and could also comfortably accommodate 5 adults with the long sofa. The terrace was great with amazing views. We had the use of a shared pool and there is a gym on site as well.
Walking into town took 10 -15 minutes and was easy as all downhill. Returning home uphill was a bit of a challenge but worth the effort for the views of both the town and the sea on the way.
The staff at Villa Thea were lovely and always ready to help with advice and organising taxis, etc. The apartment was cleaned daily.
I would not hesitate to recommend Villa Thea and the Iro apartment.

The hotel is in a great location in a great location, only a 5 minute walk from the city center, a short walk through the most beautiful observation points on the city, a hotel with excellent staff,
Led by May, who upgraded the room to a huge suite, with everything you could please, May accompanied us and guided us, arranged for us transportation to the beaches, at great prices, recommended us everything good in the beautiful Mykonos, the experience was excellent and the hotel is highly recommended for those who want to

Firstly the service was great! The management and staff were very accommodating and very helpful. The hotel is very new with one room even still being completed so I believe this is why some teething issues with our stay. Water issues for the first couple of days. Our double doors that lead out to the front area wouldn’t open due to structure issue and we find ourselves making tea and coffee on the floor, just no tables or anywhere to prepare. It’s really just a combination of many minor things that are easily fixed with trial and error. I wish Villa Thea all the best with improving as they are wonderful people and beautiful boutique hotel.

The Villas are lovely- we even had our own private terrace to watch the sunset. The staff are very welcoming and go above and beyond to assist us in any way. Only a 10 minute walk to town, would highly recommend.
