Beautiful historic house in a great location. Responsive owner. Great visit!

Management very courteous and communicates well via text. Property is reasonaly comfortable and a little better than just ok. Grounds could be a bit cleaner landscaping wise and needed a good power wash. I didnt appreciate being misled by being shown the front house as the property where I would be staying and then placed in a different and detached dwelling behind the main house. Overall not a bad place though.

picturesque New England B&B, everything we expected. Room was comfortable, breakfast was excellent.

My husband and I stayed at the Hampton Terrace Inn for 2 nights this September. We were looking for safe place to stay during these unfortunate COVID-19 pandemic times, with the option of separate lodging. We therefore stayed in one of the cottage suites which we found to be large, comfortable, quiet, and well-appointed. Our cottage had a gas fireplace, which was very lovely and warmed up the room rather quickly. Stan the owner, was an excellent host. He was very proactive in communicating with us after our booking and checking in with us constantly to ensure that we were comfortable or to see if we needed anything. We were also fortunate enjoy the sumptuous breakfast, offered at the Inn which was truly fabulous. The Inn also offers a bar, where you can enjoy cordials and has a Keurig machine for making coffee or tea in the room. The Inn is centrally located, walking distance to all the good restaurants in Lenox: Alta, Brava and Zinc! There is ample and convenient parking within the compound. We were very happy and content during our stay and highly recommend the place for a wonderful, low-key and comfortable stay.

Lovely inn. Cozy bed, great shower. Nice perks-refrigerated water bottles available at all times as well as cordials inside the main house. Though at times you could hear people walking or talking in the hallway, when it was important (late night) the house was nice and quiet. Excellent location. Easy walk to downtown Lenox.

This was a quick getaway, we loved it, great location with a great host. We will be back :)

Jacuzzi was nice but room was dated. Decor so dated. Carpet old and coming up. We won’t be back.

Pros:
1. the house is located walking distance to restaurants
2. The house was clean
3. The owner is very attentive and replied to my emails immediately
4. They provide breakfast
Cons:
1 The pictures are from 10 years ago. Little or no maintenance has been done. The floor creak, the sink was rusted. We had a shock when we got there as the house does not look at all as the pictures specially after paying $712 for 2 nights.
2. The furniture is old. The bathroom curtain had a whole
3. The walls are paper thin, you can hear people walking and even snoring
I would recommend Lenox, great town with lots of things to do.

Loved everything about the Hampton Terrace Inn...this is my second time staying here. The inn itself is comfortable and homey, the location is easy access to Tanglewood and many area attractions, we loved being able to come back from touring for a dip in the pool (open 24/7), our room was terrific, breakfasts were delicious and there was lots of choice, Stan was our genial host and he made sure that everything was to our satisfaction. I’ll be staying at this inn when I go back to the Berkshires again.

This is a lovely, classic Gilded Era Inn in the best location for staying in Lenox. We thoroughly enjoyed reading on the side porch, swimming in the pool, and enjoying the prepared breakfasts. While there are a few creaks in the floors, the bed was extremely comfortable and the room, quite large. The Hampton Terrace is within walking distance to all Lenox’s best restaurants.

Had a wonderful stay in June. The inn is a short walk to town and short drive to great hiking trails. The inn and our room was very clean, and well maintained. We truly enjoyed a delicious home cooked breakfast in a beautiful dining area. The host/owner was very welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Our stay was a lovely experience. Amanda went out of her way to insure that all details were addressed. Thank you so much for the birthday surprise in our room. We truly appreciated this gesture.

Beautiful, old home. Bar area was cozy and relaxing. Complimentary booze was a nice touch. Warm and friendly proprietor.

The breakfast was amazing! Stan, the innkeeper sent a list of restaurants and attractions to choose from prior to my arrival, which was very helpful.
And the working fireplace in the room added a special touch to my stay. The holiday decorations were beautiful and the atmosphere of the inn was warm and inviting. I felt right at home.

Lovely bed and breakfast inn close to downtown Lenox and Tanglewood. Beautiful furnishings (especially a fantastic antique doll collection on the second floor of the main house). Breakfast is included, home made and delicious.
If a B & B experience is to your liking, you will love this inn!
The owner is friendly and very hands on. House and grounds immaculate, our rooms comfortable.

I chose Hampton Terrace to be close to a funeral in Pittsfield but also be close to lovely Lenox. It had been highly reviewed and it matched the reviews. I travel a great deal and cannot abide a sub-standard lodging.

The inn was not as well maintained as others we’ve stayed. Love the town but probably won’t be going back to this particular Inn. Hampton Terrace was just okay.

Receptionist was excellent. Did a tour of the place and let us check in 1 hour early. Excellent breakfast. Very close to restaurants. Close to museums (less than 10 miles). Nice bath tub and swimming pool. Building is very old and you can hear squeaky sounds and cars buzzing through roads during night time. This was my first time to Berkshires and we stayed for only one day. Not sure about other locations being that old so I cannot comment. Anyway that is secondary for people who spend lot of time outside.

Great get away. Locations was warm, festive, clean, spacious, walking distance to center of Lenox. Extremely welcoming and relaxing. I love this type of venue. I would recommend to anyone and I would definitely go back
