We actually didn't get to stay in Valmor Palace as it was closed down by the mayor so we were moved to a different property owned by the same chain. It was lovely and the breakfast was superb. We were very jet lagged and my daughter had an access tooth so was knocked out from antibiotics and pain pills. The hotel was super quiet and calm, even though it was in a very busy area of Lisbon. Staff was very kind and helpful and replaced my uneaten breakfast when I had to leave early.

Guess I stay in hotels more than 60 - 80 nights a year, and this is by far the best boutique hotel ever. An 8 suite property ran by a staff of 9 in a high class renovation of a historical building. Manager Ines provided me with the best self tour ideas for Lisbon. She told me we slept in the Duchess' room. Close to everything.

Lovely Art Nouveau mansion converted to a small & intimate hotel. Fantastic breakfast buffet included with eggs freshly cooked to your preference as well. Highly accomplished & caring staff. Inès & Katharina looked after us as if we were family members & provided high quality personalised suggestions & advice. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Lisbon!

The most beautiful place we have ever stayed in. It is an iconic Lisbon building that has been carefully and lovingly restored and turned into 12 suites that retain the original elegance of Paris Country Houses, with its classic and eclectic style, works of art and antiques.
The rooms are incredibly lovely and comfortable and that is only part of the equation. The staff is the most welcoming and helpful imaginable. It truly felt like being home.

This hotel use to be a mansion for a wealthy man and it still has that feel. Very well decorated and very clean. The service and the staff were amazing. We didn't want to leave. It is located by a main avenue and there is a bustop and metro right by it.

Fabulous find outside the city center but close to subway and shops. Excellent rooms and service. Street is noise and room have only single pane windows, although this is less of an issue later at night. Would definitely go back.

This hotel lacks in the basics. The owner is only concerned with the aesthetics of the hotel and not the functionality. In the bathroom in Room 5 you must put your toiletries on the floor in the shower. There is no shelf or stand to put things on. This was brought up to the staff and was told that they are making a marble stand. A simple fix was suggested of placing as plastic stand/table in the shower but this was not acceptable with the 27 year old owner. There are only eight rooms currently at this facility. Room 2 and 5 are huge and the staff likes to say you are there, like home. No tissue paper and trash cans that are unbelievably small. The room safe is not even bolted to anything. If you wanted to carry off the safe you could. I am sure that my “home” would have these basics addressed. These issues were in fact addressed with the staff but nothing was done about any of it. I for one want functionality over looks. If it is functional and ultra-clean then it is good for me. This facility is definitely not a 4 or 5 star hotel.

Beautiful old convent house, the only downside is near a busy road and no lift.

Staff was friendly and helpful
Good location, two metro stations and good restaurants nearby

Best hotel service we ever experience! The staff were all super friendly and gave us so many tips on where to go, what to see and what to do. Real good people knowledge. The rooms were amazing and so was the breakfast, everything is done with care, quality and love. I wish we had more then 1 night here and will love to come back. What a place! And not to mention the design of the place, it was a privilige to stay here. Everything was just amazing!
There were some nice places around here and good with an easy metro ride so you can reach most of Lissabon in no time.
