The Drifter 302 is a three-bedroom, two-bath ocean view condo located 0.5 miles north of Garden City Pier and across the street from the beach. This unit features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with microwave and dishwasher, as well as a washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, and private balcony. Four color TVs (cable), two DVD players, and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include one king, one queen, one twin over twin bunk, and one twin over double bunk. Common area includes a swimming pool. No elevator. No golf carts. No trailers. No smoking or vaping. No pets. Maximum occupancy: 9

Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Cafe, and Original Sam's Corner.

Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.

Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo.

If you're looking for places to shop, The Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach.

Looking for entertainment and attractions? Take in a show at Pirates Voyage, Medieval Times, Alabama Theater, The Carolina Opry, or Legends in Concert. Then visit SkyWheel Myrtle Beach, Ripley's Aquarium, WonderWorks, Ripley's Believe It Or Not Odditorium, Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.

Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and the second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway, with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.

Take a day trip to Charleston to experience shopping, a harbor cruise, a city carriage tour, or a plantation tour. Charleston is only 87 miles from Garden City Beach - approximately two hours. It's a picturesque and exquisitely preserved southern city with antebellum architecture, cobblestone streets, and historical landmarks.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at Drifter 302! The location was perfect being directly across from the beach access so we could just walk over in the morning and the kids could go back for lunch or to hop in the pool. The unit was very clean and well stocked with everything we could have needed for our stay and more. The beds were comfortable, the furnishings were nice, and the kids were very happy with the wifi and TVs in every room! We had 2 adult couples with 2 kids each, so the bunk bed room was perfect.The second bathroom was a little small, but it worked. When we arrived, the AC was not working, but we called maintenance, and a service tech arrived in 15 minutes and had it fixed and cooling again. There are 3 flights of stairs to get to the unit, no elevator, so be prepared to get your exercise! The check-in/check-out process was great, and we also liked having the keyless entry! Would definitely stay here again!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay wasn’t the best. Between moving properties due to no A/C, losing the view, and amenities we loved and paid for and expected our whole trip, the first rental was great, extra things like Tp, towels, etc. Thea second had one roll, and nothing extra. No elevator for little kids. We did choose to move, but not choice with no AC for a few days would’ve been absolutely horrible. There was no parking at the second rental either, permit or not, it was always a fight to get a parking spot. We just wasn’t pleased with our stay and we aren’t sure about next years rentals. The staff was friendly for the most part, but there should’ve been other options.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo unit was clean but out-dated. Loved the ocean view. 3rd floor unit was brutal without an elevator. You do not realize how many times you go up and down to beach or to eat until you do not have an elevator. We did not use the pool so have no comments on the pool.

Reviewer Comments: We had some issues with the people staying in the room below us in 202 harassing our children, but after receiving a call from you guys, it stopped, but they were very rude, harassed our children, & constantly had smoke blowing on our balcony from them smoking below us & being extremely loud, but our overall stay was Wonderful & the Condo was perfect!!! We’d definitely stay their again & plan to return next year once again!!! We loved it!!! Had all we needed & was a perfect location rite across from the Beach & perfect ocean view! Would definitely recommend!!!
