About this house rental
A couples retreat located right on the beachfront at Hydeaway bay, you have the whole house to yourself, and your so close to the beach you will going to sleep listening to the waves roll in. Relax on the front deck in the afternoons and get a birds eye view from the beach of the breathtaking sunrise on the beach with your coffee. The house has seperate kitchen, laundry and bedroom with all linen provided for your stay. There is also ample parking if you are wishing to bring a boat with you. Guests will access to all of the house and carport, the beach access is straight in front of the house and this is also a public beach access. We also have Kayaks that are available and that have to be returned to under the house. Regards Robyn The Hydeaway bay community is a very laid back friendly community, we all enjoy and love looking after our beach front, we have young families and retirees in the community, we have a local bowls club that meets every Friday night and we have a local Art Group that meets on a Wednesday at our Community Centre and Cape Gloucester Resort and Dingo Pub within 6kms of Hydeaway bay, both open 7 days for Lunch and Dinner. We are located approximately 40km from Airlie Beach and Proserpine, our closest grocery store is in either of those places, so please remember to get groceries before you arrive. Our popular months are from April to September and these are best time for swimming at the beach also and temperature ranges from 25-30 during the day and 15-22 at night. Our hottest months are November to March this is also our wet season temperatures range from 25-35 during these months and we get a lot of Northerly hot winds, and still days, and we have to careful on those days when swimming. You require a car to access Hideaway Bay. It is a 45 km drive from Proserpine, and 50km drive from Cannonvale/Airlie Beach. You can fly into Proserpine Airport, or Hamilton Island and get a ferry to the mainland. Hire car options are available at the airport or in Airlie Beach. check us out on Instagram & Facebook!
