The hotel made me very disappointed. Although its rating on the site is 4.2, and referred to as 4 stars hotel, it is in a state of decay: my first room was covered in mold, which was solved by changing to another apartment; the elevator was broken all the time - from Sunday, when I arrived, until next Saturday, when I checked out! And I, a guest with serious orthopedic problems I had to climb every day, at least twice, a staircase up to the fourth floor. And everyday they used to say: it will be repaired today. They had no unoccupied room at the ground floor or at a lower floor. I emphasize that there were people in our work group who were over 80 years old, who faced the same situation. Sorry for the lack of accessibility of this hotel!
The bed was comfortable, the towels changed daily, clean sheets , but lots of ants in the room. In the bathroom there was a cockroach.
The restaurant had an inviting menu, but there was not a variety of fish available every day - yellow fish OR filhote, both very tasteful fishes. Breakfast did not come as a surprise daily, because of the repetition of the items. There is no lactose-free milk available; I had to buy outside the hotel.
Anyway, I have stayed at this hotel whenever I have activities at UFPA for the last 8 year, as the hotel is very close to it. I do not intend to stay at this hotel again.
Lastly, I need to thank the management, who conceived me a discount of 20 reais /day, due to the lack of service expected.
