Great hotel, extremely well located, incredible and very nice staff. Rooms are generous in size. However, if you plan to stay for a week or so, as I did, remember to bring one or two extension chords. There is physically no place (different than the high table) to plug any laptop, telephone, chargers, etc.
A big inconvenience if you go there in business or family recreation. The desk on the room has absolutely no place to plug anything, none, period. No idea who designed this hotel renovation, but in today’s technology devices none of them are served by this hotel.
Strongly recommend that the worn down night table lamps be replaced by ones that provide that feature.

It was amazing, the hotel is beautiful with great AC (much needed). The staff were so helpful, they were able to get us some food and drinks after hours during the curfew. They knew how to get a hold of the doctors for a covid test. I will be back.

Overall enjoyed my stay here! Only complaint was the construction and lack of front desk upon arrival, but the staff was very helpful otherwise.

Amazing hotel and staff it’s absolutely gorgeous. The bed could’ve been softer though, but I’d stay here again in an instant

For the price you pay you should receive better service and the hotel should have more public apace such as lobby, storage room, whasrooms, business centre, etc.

The place should be advertised as a bed and breakfast not a 4 Star hotel.

Missing a good lobby bar, restaurant and hangout area with service, lounge, etc. The space is there, just not utilized properly. They had to go to another hotel to get us a six pack. Amazing facility and well updated while keeping its old colonial style. This place could be absolutely remarkable with the right level of service (Ritz Carlton-like).

We left the hotel on day 2 of our supposed 5 day stay at Casa Pombo. Dirty, run down, no manager on site, just a guy who does everything from front desk to serving breakfast. It’s not worth the price there asking, there’s far better options in Cartagena for less money. They don’t even give you a bottle of water for your room. Even the night shift person was asleep at 11 pm on a Saturday night. Not recommended at all!

The hotel was great! Clean and quiet with a very private feel. The staff was very polite and our room was made every day - sometimes more than once. Furthermore, the breakfast that was included was better than many of the nearby restaurants. I definitely recommend Casa Pombo!

Casa Pombo is like your own personal home. Each room is set up to feel like the entire property is just for you. There are multiple areas to hang out in and the rooftop is beautiful. Their sister site is Casa Pestagua is also a great option with a beautiful pool. Can't wait to get back.

The grounds of the hotel are immaculate. The service is above expectations. The area is extremely central to all the restaurants and bars within the walled city. Honestly cannot find anything remotely negative to say about this place. It'll be on top of my list whenever I visit Cartagena in the future.
