Stunning 3-bedroom property in the heart of Finnieston. As location goes there are not many better spots. The property is bright, and spacious and has been furnished with guests comfort in mind. The property is 2 mins walk to Kelvingrove Park, 5 minutes to Kelvingrove Museum and less than 10 minute's walk to Glasgow University. There are cafes, bars, and restaurants all within 2 minute walk. There are Sainsbury's and Tesco just 2 minute walk away. The Hydro and SEC are walkable in 15 minutes.
The Space:
The property is very bright and spacious, located on the second floor of a traditional tenement. All 3 bedrooms are large with comfortable beds and ample storage space. The flat has been refurbished to a high standard and offers a level of detail that is sure to please guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything required for cooking meals. There is also a dining table for guests to enjoy a meal. The living room is large with a beautiful, bright bay window, 55in smart TV with a Sky package. The flat benefits from fibre broadband with speeds that are ideal for work or streaming movies etc. There is on street parking but it is metered between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday with a maximum stay of 3 hours.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire flat during their stay. Check in is from 4pm on the day of arrival and check out is by 10am on the day of departure.
The Neighborhood:
Finnieston is a hip foodie hub of gourmet sandwich shops, artisan coffee bars and trendy organic restaurants specialising in Scottish meat and seafood. Craft beers and gins are served up at stylish bars, while old-school pubs like the Ben Nevis, Islay Inn and the Park Bar offer vast whisky selections and traditional folk music sessions. The striking riverside venues SEC Armadillo and SSE Hydro stage rock and pop shows.
So why not dive straight into discovering Finnieston’s food with the award winners? Those who love their steaks will enjoy a night at Porter & Rye with its dry-aged beef and inventive cocktails, or if seafood is more your thing, book a table at Crabshakk for a simple and delicious menu full of freshly caught produce from the Western Isles of Scotland. Getting Around:
The property is perfectly situated for people that enjoy getting out and wandering in beautiful surroundings. The Hydro is 12 minutes walk from the front door. Kelvinhall Underground station is 0.6 miles away and opens up the entire city. The city centre can be reached on foot in 25 minutes or by bus in 5 minutes. Buses run along Sauchiehall Street and Argyle Street every 5-10 minutes. Buses into the city centre include the number 2, 3, 17 and X17. A taxi to the city centre will cost approximately £6 for a black cab or £4 if you have the Uber app on your phone. Glasgow Airport is 8 miles away and can be reached in a taxi in 15-20 minutes cost approximately £20. If you want to bring a car there is on street metered parking which needs to be paid for between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday. It is free to park all weekend and over night.
