About this cottage rental
This old farmhouse has 2 buildings surrounding a courtyard.
In the "Maison de Louise", a music room with piano, armchairs and connected TV. A kitchen open to the dining room and living room with wood stove. A bathroom with walk-in shower, bathtub and toilet.
Upstairs, a bedroom with a 180 cm bed and another with 2 90 cm beds served by 1 bathroom with toilet.
On the other side of the courtyard, the "Maison d'Abel" offers a kitchen open to the dining room and living room. A bedroom with 1 150 cm bed on the ground floor. Upstairs, a bathroom with toilet, a bedroom with a 160 cm bed giving access to a mezzanine with futon overlooking the bedroom on the ground floor.
Enjoy the fully equipped summer kitchen: stove, plancha, barbecue, garden furniture, shower and shaded paddling pool, all on the edge of the 10 x 5m natural swimming pool, with submerged beaches and up to 2m deep. Pool secured by a tarpaulin with bars. On request, high chair, stroller, baby relax and baby bed. Combining the simplicity of peasant builders with the sweetness of life accessible thanks to the control of renewable energies, such is the adventure to which "La Baignade aux iris" invites you. You will bathe in living water filtered by plants, in a turquoise pool in the heart of nature. At the water's edge, an outdoor kitchen under awning awaits you, decorated with a small priest's garden with aromatic plants at will. You can settle there and enjoy a breathtaking view of the valley of La Ferrassie where, 50,000 years ago, Neanderthal families lived. A private wooded path will take you to the Grand Abri préhistorique de La Ferrassie, where tours in French take place every week. The eco-friendly farmhouse where you will be staying has benefited from an exemplary restoration – lime plaster, local woodwork, stone paving – ensuring it is cool in summer and warm in winter.
