Located on a quiet, characterful side street, this high-end holiday home is in the heart of Skipton. Known as the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, Skipton is famous for its lively outdoor market and historical attractions. It’s home to a medieval castle, gorgeous parks and gardens, and a fine choice of shops, inns and eateries. The town is also a leading destination on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. Hire a day boat, join a cruise or go for an on-foot adventure along the water’s edge. Drive 10 miles north and you’ll be in the Wharfedale town of Grassington, where you’ll find the National Park Visitor Centre and can pick up popular walking trails, including the Dales Way. Visit Malham (11 miles) and see the stunning scenery of Malham Cove (12 miles) and Gordale Scar (13 miles). Enjoy a true taste of Yorkshire life with a stay at this stylish apartment.
There’s just a small step to the entrance then all your accommodation is on one floor, starting with a welcoming entrance hall where you can leave shoes and coats as you start to settle in. Attention to detail is evident as you move further on. The contemporary, open-plan living space is full of on-trend features, including wooden flooring, hand-crafted furniture, bold-coloured sofas and complementing window seat. Kick-back with your favourite TV programmes, cook up a romantic meal for two in the sleek kitchen and chat over coffee at the breakfast bar – this is a room where together-time is emphasised. When it's time to sleep, the bedroom has a super-king-size zip-and-link bed that can be made into a twin on request at the time of booking and a hand-crafted hanging space for your clothes. Close by, the modern bathroom has an ornamental fireplace, free-standing bath and separate shower.
Outside, there’s a patio garden to the rear of the property, with stone walls giving a sense of privacy plus flower beds and outdoor furniture to enjoy a cup of tea in the sunshine. If you’d like to bring bikes, there’s secure storage by your door, and the private parking has CCTV.
