The Ranch House:
This single-story structure is packed with features including central heating air conditioning! As you step inside through the main entrance, you will discover a generous sized living area with a sectional couch and upholstered chairs, a flat screen monitor, and a dining table with seating for eight. Next, you will discover a well thought out kitchen, complete with a breakfast bar/prep station with two chairs, a coffee station/bar table with two stools, a built-in double oven, a glass top range, a dishwasher, and LOTS of counterspace, plus an additional dining table with seating for five, and 1-full bath. In addition, there is one bedroom with 2-sets of standard sized bunk beds and lots of closet space, a second bedroom with 1-full sized bed and 2-sets of standard sized bunk beds plus an ensuite bath with dual sinks and a separate bathtub and shower. There is also a mudroom with an additional refrigerator, a full-size washer and dryer, and a door accessing a large, covered deck complete with a private hot tub! The Ranch House will sleep up to 10-persons (maximum overnight occupancy).
Talk about photo ops…just steps away from the backyard at the Ranch House, you’ll discover a trail leading down to Maple Creek…which is less than 100 yards away!
The Bunkhouse:
This 2-story cabin offers an open floorplan with a freestanding gas fireplace to cozy-up to, a ½-bath, and folding tables/chairs that can be arranged to accommodate gatherings for hobbies such as scrapbooking, stamping, and quilting, as well as serving as a gathering place for skiing and hiking clubs, weddings, family reunions, and corporate retreats. Ascending the staircase to the second floor reveals a small greeting area/parlor, an open sleeping area with 3-twin beds, 1-full bed, and 1-set of standard sized bunk beds, plus another freestanding gas fireplace, a ¾-bath, and a small balcony for relaxing and taking in Mother Nature. The Bunkhouse will sleep up to 7-persons (maximum overnight occupancy). Please note that there are no kitchen facilities in The Bunkhouse.
The Mount Baker Recreation Area is a year-round playground! SUMMER Guests enjoy great hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, backpacking, freshwater fishing (lake and river), small game hunting, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, nature viewing and golf. WINTER Guests enjoy spectacular downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and sledding. Do not forget your camera...the photography is unsurpassed year-round!
WIFI service is available in our area and provided FREE OF CHARGE for Guest use. Having said this, intermittent service failures are a circumstance that is beyond our control, and no sleeping accommodation refunds are provided if the FREE WIFI SERVICE fails to function properly.
