Breakfast was really good and staff was very helpful
Locaion was a bit far and the road below a bit noisy as well as the other hotel guests

The family running the hotel were extremely nice
and helpful. Made our stay more than comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The welcome was very warm from the staff, including a lot of very helpful info on how to plan our travel around the lake areas, plus the building itself is like a postcard in the countryside. The room was large with a sofa area & the balcony area was enjoyable at night and in sunshine, with nice doors. Bed was comfortable & shower was very powerful. Lots of clothes hooks & space to hang towels, which was ideal, given we had wet clothes from swimming. Was a superb location from which to reach the lakes area, whilst also being close enough to pop into Salzburg. Very quiet at night.
Nothing problematic for us. The breakfast was a bit more basic than we had at other places, especially in the cooked elements, but the food was nice & cheese selection was excellent. We easily were well fed! The sliding door to the bathroom was a bit difficult to reopen & the room furniture was a bit basic, but everything worked for its purpose.

The hosts and owners of the hotel are awesome, very warm greeting and they are always willing to help you and give you advice how to experience Salzburg city at its finest. Also they are speaking english perfectly. The rooms were good - clean and tidy, big bathroom. Breakfast were super nice for us, variety of options to eat. Very good location and superb view from the terrace.
Surprisingly it was a bit noisy, we had loud neighbours and cars were running down and up the hill all night long, but it was no big deal for us. The beds were very squeaky in our room.

The staff was exceptional and answered every question that we had. We saw that there were rooms with a balcony and we asked if any were available that we could move to and they moved us into one after a cancellation with no problem. They were very knowledgeable about the area and gave excellent restaurant recommendations.
WiFi can get a little spotty in the room but worked fine in common areas.

We spent 2 nights here as base for Salzburg visit - to not have a headache of parking that we expected to have with Salzburg hotels. The hotel is located in a small quiet suburb - complete silence at nights.. Everyting was excellent! Very friendly hosts, that talk English well. Great breakfast!

Ideal for a daytrip to Salzburg. Quiet.
We missed coffee/tea facilities. Had to drive 3 km for a restaurant.

Very nice breakfast, they made a good effort. I also liked the overall atmosphere of the place, sehr gemütlich :). Very Austrian, very cosy, I like it! Terrace was very nice with great views.

Convenient location
No WiFi in guest rooms, only in public areas; pretty useless. Small room under the roof with tiny window; could have benefitted from a face lift.
