We did the check in next door in the restaurant which is weird enough in it self, but it got even stranger when we were

The location is great and the staff was nice

I don’t think there was anything in the bathroom that actually worked as intended. There’s construction work going on outside and they will wake you up at 0700 in the morning

Exceptional

The location and the amenities were perfect for the price! Alessandro was one of the best hosts I've ever met during my stays. The hotel also has an restaurant down below, the Santa Margherita Ligure is perfect to have a couple of drinks; it is 5-6 minutes away from the hotel (by car), also it is possible to walk at night. The ferry dock is just 200 meters away so you can take the ferry and explore the Portofino and San Fruttuoso Bay... We have extended our stay, we loved Rapallo and the hotel. -It's very cheap compared to others with a private bathroom. - the window has good isolation - well located, good transport connections

- old facilities(bed, fan, bathroom, elevator...) - very noisy if the windows are open due to the construction and cars (some earplugs would help) - Noisy toilet

Location, friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant below the hotel is also great. Rooms are comfortable and the common bathroom is nice.

we booked into a hotel on the seafront for the second night as the room at Alberto la vela was cramped and the bathroom

The location is just amazing. Close everywhere... The view from the room is also great.

The hotel on the other side of the street has some parties on the weekand so in this case you have to close the windows until they finish. Happily the windows are new so they really minimise the noise.

Location, lift was old style and special, personal

Bathroom not good.. they could also put soup in toilet not just in room.. there is no hanger in bathroom to hang clothes and towels. Vantilatör was making sound and i repaired it. No refrigerator in room.

For the money you pay (bear in mind that you are in the Italian Riviera), you can't ask for more. The room is clean and comfortable The staff is super nice And the shared bathroom was always clean Good location - close to the Train and Ferry

For my expectations... Nothing It's not a perfect hotel, a shared bathroom is not an amazing thing but what they give you value for money

A well situated property with the basic equipment equivalent to the price

The close location to the sea, allowing to take the boat to visit all the others closest cities (Portofino, Santa Magherita Lingurie , San Fruttuoso, etc) The staff that also manage the restaurant at ground floor were lovely and they greet me well and was always nice , communicative with me

The fact that I didn’t have a personal bathroom and the cool air fan wasn’t that powerful
