Pros: The apartment was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Lidia was very good with communicating directions to the apartment and suggestions for sight seeing. It was a close walking distance to the station where you catch the train to Cinque Terre and also close to the grocery store where we bought breakfast and snack items. The restaurant strip was about a 25 minute walk from the apartment. Plenty of choices once you arrive there. The cons were that there are no laundry machines in the apartment and we were given only 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people over 3 days and no shampoo or bath soap. When these issues were relayed to Lidia after our stay, she apologized and promised that her cleaning service would leave sufficient items for her future guests. Also note that the photo in VRBO is of Cinque Terre and NOT the area surrounding the apartment.

Great location and very clean. No shampoo or soap. No accès washer and dryer. Property manager 1h late to come open us the door, did not contact me till one hour later, thought I had to find another place to stay. Owner was out of reach for the full day, had to call Vrbo.

This property is right next to the railroad tracks but the trains did not disturb us at all. Short walk from train station. Close to grocery store, restaurants, etc. - all walkable. Don't let the waterside pictures fool you -- this is not on the water so pics are somewhat misleading. No body wash or shampoo available. One roll of toilet paper for a family of four. We failed to notice the 10 am check out time and as we were finishing packing at 10:20 when a woman who identified herself as "the inspector" burst through the door and went from room to room "checking" and then started changing linens before we even got out the door. Arrival was also a bit less than hospitable. We arrived by train and had three hours before check in time. Early check in not available so we checked bags and then took a taxi to the apartment after walking around town. Got there at 4:15. Check in time was 4:00 and we notified the owner via message that we were running late. When we arrived, her "helper" said he was about to leave because we were not there promptly at 4:00. As owners of short-term rentals, we are all too familiar with providing for guests' needs and would have expected more from our stay here.

Our stay in La Spezia was perfect to stay and have for a home base to sight see in Cinque Terre by train. The station, La Spezia Centrale, was less than 10 minutes, which is very convenient. The property was well taken care of and suited our needs. There’s a tiny lift for luggage but is great so you’re not lugging your luggage up the stairs. The road to get to the property is super narrow, but we had Maserati Levante and it fit through the tunnel. Would definitely recommend!!!

Lidia’s place in La Spezia was a perfect spot to base ourselves for exploring the beautiful coastline of the Cinque Terre. It’s less than 10 minutes away from the station also convenient was the little supermarket. The apartment is a little old fashioned in some of its decor but has a good amount of space for a family of 5. Would recommend to anyone who wants to explore this stunning area of Italy with a family.

Appartement calme hors mis le passage des trains, la clim est aussi bruyante et ne peut pas être laissée la nuit. Sinon il est facile de se garer au pied de l'immeuble, l'appartement est proche de la gare et de la ville. Très bien pour visiter les 5 terres

Très bel appartement calme, bien équipé et bien situé à 7mn à pied de la gare, emplacement idéal pour visiter les Cinque Terre et Gènes, un supermarché proche. La climatisation dans les chambres est la bienvenue et les ventilateurs au plafond suffisent dans les autres pièces. Il faut prendre le temps de flâner dans La Spezia, de beaux bâtiments à découvrir et un centre animé. En résumé, de bonnes vacances en famille

Tout est conforme à l'annonce. La propriétaire est très sympathique et disponible , même si elle n'est pas sur place. Superbe appartement idéalement situé pour effectuer toutes les visites ( Cinque terres , Porto Venere , Lerici ). Tout est accessible à pied , bus , train , bateau. Nous n'avons plus utilisé notre véhicule de la semaine . La supérette Doro est à 2 minutes à pied , .La gare et l'arrêt de bus sont à 5 minutes. Le port à 25 minutes. le centre ville à 10 minutes. Je vous recommande cette location rapport qualité prix excellent.

Die Wohnung ist schön, wenn auch nicht komplett neu renoviert (das Bad ist schon etwas älter), hat aber alles was man braucht. Die Zufahrt zur Wohnung ist relativ schmal und für große Autos nicht unbedingt gut geeignet. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war sehr freundlich, unkompliziert und entgegenkommend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Great location and very clean house, very close to a supermarket, city center and train station. It was extremely hot, the house could use either an A/C or a Fan in the Master Bedroom. Otherwise it was a great place for a family.

Angefangen von der regen Komunikation mit der Vermieterin Lidia Adamo (auf englisch), dem Standort des Apartements mit der direkten Nähe zum Bahnhof, bis zum Parkplatz,- es war perfekt! Die Wohnung ist sauber, gemütlich eingerichtet, es ist alles vorhanden was wir brauchten, ja wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

trés bel appartement, très bien entretenu, calme les trains qui passent assez près ne sont pas dérangeants le tout est très bien sauf avec lave vaisselle manque un peu de vaisselle. L accès pour y arriver est un peu difficile mais rien de bien méchant. Propriétaire très gentille et serviable que de bonnes choses de notre séjour

Vi älskade lägenheten, den är lagom stor , ren och bekväm med allt . Vi älskade att det var "avsides", det var så lugnt, men ändå nära till allt , för att komma till stränder så får man åka kommunalt som tar 10 -20 minuter . En trevlig och tillmötesgående värdinna . Een week hebben we genoten van deze ruime comfortabele en schoon appartement. Het flatgebouw was netjes en lag aan rustig weggetje . We hebben geen hinder ondervonden van het treinverkeer. Met 4 personen zaten we geregeld op het balkon en genoten van de zon en de lokale bevolking (ook rustig). We hebben de auto niet gemist, alles was goed bereikbaar met openbaar vervoer. Een aanrader als je de omgeving van Golf van La Spezia wilt bezoeken.

Well located near everything. While it had everything one needs to stay comfortably, such as large rooms, we have some suggestions with the cleaningness of the floors and the bathtub. The lightling was also lacking. We also had a slow draining sink and considering the number of people staying we were only given one roll of toilet paper. Otherwise for the price the place is ver nice and Lidia was very attentious with during all time. I recommend the stay.

We stayed three nights here. The apartment was fine, clean and well equipped. As for location, it was off of a little alley kind of street and right along the train tracks for the central station. Good location for access to the train, the town, restaurants and shops. Internet signal was quite week. Free street parking right outside. Building was secure and the area was fine. The owner met us there to show us around and explain things. He was able to help us in English and was quite nice.

Enjoyed our stay. Location was a short walk to train station so we could arrive in the Cinque Terre in about 15 minutes. Small grocery store nearby for our shopping needs. We cooked dinner in and found everything we needed in our apartment. Plenty of room for three of us to spread out and everything was clean. Would stay here again!

We recently had the pleasure of a 4 week stay in this fabulous apartment in La Spezia. From our first enquiry to our departure, the owner Lidia was a joy to deal with, answering endless questions and giving us complete confidence we had made the right decision. The apartment itself is spotless, spacious and has everything you need for a great holiday, including a lovely balcony for breakfast and drinks. There is even an elevator to help with heavy suitcases!. La Spezia is a great base for seeing the region, we did day trips by train and bus to Cinque Terre, Portofino, Rapallo, Lerici, Sestri Levante and a host of other villages. The apartment is an easy and flat 10 minute walk to the train station making it ideal. A car is not needed. You will not find a better apartment or more helpful owner. We liked this apartment very Much. It is light, airy, clean, well equipped and spacious, with a balcony, and is very convenient for the La Spezia train station and is a short walk into town. Conveniently, there is a supermarket a few minutes walk away. Also conveniently, it has wi-fi.

We stayed in this apartment for one week with our two children. There was plenty of space for us and it contained everything we needed. It was easy to contact the owner, Lidia, and she gave us excellent directions for getting to the apartment; she even left a birthday gift for our son who turned 5 whilst in La Spezia! We made good use of the rail network, as the train station is a 10 minute walk from the apartment and visited places such as Pisa and Cinque Terre. We loved La Spezia and would highly recommend staying in Lidia's apartment. Shops, transport, restaurants all within walking distance.

"Attractive modern Flat , clean and well appointed had all the equipment necessary for an extended stay. near the railway station handy to travel up and down the coastal towns of the cinque terre . A little noise from the railway but the trains stop running at 10pm and we were out touring during the day. all in all a lovely flat and a good base to explore the surrounding area"
