About this cabin rental

Located at the base of Columbia Mountain our Cabins are only minutes from Glacier National Park, Whitefish Mountain Resort, Flathead lake and many other destinations in the Flathead Valley.

Each rustic cabin comfortably accommodates up to six guests and are equipped with a small kitchenette and a Traeger pellet grill on the covered deck.

Men's and Women's showers and rest rooms are located across the foot bridge in the main service building as the cabins do not have plumbing.

Our cabin was clean and cozy and air conditioned! Bath house was nice, extra amenities like the fire pits, kayaks and SUP on the little pond, outdoor games, Traeger on our front porch were a great bonus! Owners John and Jess were so nice and friendly and checked on us every day when we were out and about.

This cabin was perfect for our family trip to Glacier. The property is gorgeous, shaded and clean. Our teens loved swimming and fishing in the ponds. Our cabin’s air conditioning was nice and cold, even on 95 degree days! We especially appreciated that the host had tons of ice on site for our hiking bags. We saw many other rental cabins in the area that were in parking lots or open fields. I loved that this one was in the trees and set up against a beautiful mountain. We also saw wild turkeys and deer. We would definitely return to this place.

Our family of five stayed in the willow cabin and we absolutely loved it. The kids left the kayaks, paddle boards and fishing. The property is beautiful and the owners were very friendly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I unfortunately only booked for one night but I definitely will be back. A very clean and spacious spot to unwind and relax after being in glacier all day. Manager is in property and very helpful with everything. Lots of areas to still explore and walk around. I would definitely come back for a longer stay next time!

It was a beautiful cabin with wonderful views. A family owned place which they were so hospitable. It was well off the busy streets which made it quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. It made our trip so much better to unwind after hiking and dealing with other people. Next time I'll try the tents, they were just as nice.

We really enjoyed our stay at Columbia Mountain Ranch, there are 6 cabins and some beautiful glamping tents with a shared shower house/kitchen/laundry building (which was nice and clean) The set up means you get to meet fellow travelers and share stories as you walk the property or use the shared building, which to me added something a little more special to this place....as well as the owner cruising around making sure everyone was good and engaging in conversation. It makes it feel like this little community while your there. Very friendly people. What I loved most was just the setting of this place, at the foothills with open pasture surrounding it and 2 ponds... it was beautiful and the sunsets were magnificent! You're close to town with many restaurants and grocery store but yet the location seems secluded and away from it all. We enjoyed kayaking on the pond and my kids spent hours playing on the small playground next to our cabin. I was worried about not having plumbing in the cabin but I actally ended up enjoying my morning walks in tbe brisk mountain air to the shower house. Which is only a minute walk away. Showers were hot and it actually made things easier since my family of 5 could all shower and get ready at the same time (3 mens showers and 3 womens) It was a great basecamp for us to explore the area and Glacier. Hope to come back someday!

The owner John was very friendly and helpful in anything you needed. The bath house was always clean and the provided bath towels were so thick and soft. We had our two dogs and they enjoyed running around the open field on the property. All and all the two day stay was most enjoyable

Our family of five had a wonderful stay at Willow Cabin. The cabin was clean and exactly as advertised. We appreciated the water cooler in the cabin as well as extras like an electric skillet and toaster. Our teens enjoyed the paddle boards in the pond where we all watched the sunset. The cabin was close enough for our daily trips into Glacier National Park and a comfortable place to relax at the end of the day. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. We would love to come back the next time we visit Glacier.

We LOVED our stay at the cabins. We felt so welcomed and cared for. The cabin was so comfortable for all 6 of us, and the property was so peaceful nestled right at the base of the mountains, complete with ponds and wildlife. My kids had fun finding deer, turkeys, and squirrels. I really hope we get to stay there again!

We had a wonderful weekend staying in this cabin. The space was great - plenty of room to relax, cook, and sleep. We made use of the grill and shared kitchen, and loved the views and scenery. Super close to West Glacier. Would highly recommend!

We stayed in the Willow cabin. The property overall is great and well kept. The owners are really nice. The location is perfect, not to far from the main roads but far enough where you get serenity. Even was able to get turkey and deer watching in.

From the moment we drove up to the property and was greeted by the host I knew this was going to be a great place. I don’t know how to explain it other then it’s very surreal and breathtaking. Everything from the fresh ponds you can kayak to the very soft beds. We’re definitely coming back.

I was so happy to find this cabin, only 20 minutes from the west entrance to Glacier. It's located in the town of Columbia Falls, where you could find anything you need. However, the location of the cabin is far enough from the hustle and bustle of the town. It is quiet and quite serene. We stayed two nights, spending most of our time in Glacier National Park. The owner was great and willing to accommodate our needs, though we were very happy with everything. The kids were not thrilled with the bathroom being in the shared community cabin, but it ended up not being a big deal. Overall, our stay was very nice. The grounds are beautiful.

So glad we found this place before deciding never to do VRBO again (very poor customer service and refund policy for properties that are actually dangerous to rent.) Thankfully, as you can see by the numerous reviews, this place lives up to its rating and is on the other main vacational rental website (which we will be using solely from now on.) Found out after booking that two of our friends had actually stayed here during their trip to West Glacier in the past years. Location is beautiful and 20 minutes from west glacier entrance (more if you get a late start 😉). The hosts are friendly and have wonderful communication. Check-in is a breeze. The community kitchen was never crowded and we were able to warm a pie and prepare mac and cheese and boil eggs. The Culligan water cooler in the unit was an unexpected bonus. We got the Willow cabin which is the farthest from the community bathroom and perfect for our family of six. My kids loved the dogs and cat on the property. My husband and I enjoyed early morning walks around the three small ponds. Never got to use the kayak and paddle board or fire pits for roasting marshmallows (they have fire sticks you can borrow in the kitchen) but hope to the next time we come. Laundry is available from 5-9 pm for a very small fee. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean. We were sad to leave and will definitely be back. Thank you so much.

This cabin area was beautiful with a nice pond and fire pit. Great place to just relax. It was a short drive to the West gate of Galcier National Park. The Host was very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

My family of 5 had a wonderful stay in the rustic, yet charming Columbia Mountain Ranch. The cabin was immaculately clean and had all the amenities we needed to feel at home. The kids loved the double bunk beds and the cat who visited during dinner. The ranch had so many activities and amenities available to its guests- we could have easily stayed longer!

We were pleasantly surprised by these adorable cabins and the amenities they offered. The family who owns the property is wonderful and so accommodating. Our boys LOVED the pond where they had row boats and paddle boards. The cabins are so nice and the property is beautifully maintained. It was so convenient to west Glacier and the park.

Great place to relax

We stayed 2 nights here in the Willow cabin. We were in the area for a Spartan race and this location was close and comfortable. The cabin was pretty clean. I had to clean up the kitchen area but the bedding and furniture were very clean. The weather was not great during our stay so we didnt explore a lot but my kids loved the pond area and play set while we were at the cabin. The showers and bathrooms were very clean and the owners were very attentive and informative.
